My son started w/the Tutor Club the last semester of his sophomore year of high school. Grades were not the best. He's an athlete so we thought we would struggle with finding the time & would he actually be willing to put in the necessary effort. He pleasantly surprised myself and my husband. He did not complain once about going (three times a week for an hour or longer). Grades aren't final yet. But definitely looking better then what we've seen In past years. We are very surprised & happy. If this much improvement can be done in a semester I would love to see what a year does for him. My sons confidence has grown which was my biggest want for him. We just completed a year with Tutoring Club and had a great experience! Our son was reading below grade level starting second grade and TC got him through first, second and third grade reading and he currently tested as reading on grade level! We had great experiences with the management as well as all the tutors. They were excited to see our son each time and made him feel really special. The different incentives they offer with tokens and drawings really helped him want to do his reading instead of having to. Our experience with the Tutoring Club has been outstanding! They have helped two of our sons, particularly in math and science.
