Technically a "rustic" venue, you'll be hard pressed to not feel showered in elegance throughout. As you drive into the resort, you'll first notice a picture perfect sign and vignette. Then, the layout for the outdoor ceremony right in front of the lake was dreamy (the folding chairs are never comfy, though, ha!) from the floral trellis to the sound system. Everyone moved into a deluxe tent for appetizers and cocktail party. It's well heated and sturdy enough to forget it's a tent. Then we moved into the building for the reception. The cabin is gorgeous - outdoorsy touches and decor abound. It's heaven for Instagram updates (actually, the whole resort is). When the sun sets, the light pouring in makes it somewhat challenging to stay cool but the light blast didn't last long. The indoor bar/lounge between the tent and building is a nice addition for the evening. There is a very small ladies restroom and if it's the only one, they could use another.
