Cici - who is at the front desk was extremely helpful. My experiences have been with Tamara and Elizabeth. Tamara is the perfect person for any physical type of therapy. She is diligent, responsible and professional. Yes, it certainly does hurt when you are going to therapy, but it also hurts prior to surgery and during the healing phase - at any time, not just for therapy. However, after you leave the session, you begin to see the distinct difference in your well-being. Tamara is diligent in what she does - she is the number one pick in my book. As a matter of fact, I am scheduled for the other knee surgery and I will definitely want Tamara ...In addition, after all my insurance allotment is done - I will purchase a package to stay with them. Elizabeth, is friendly and caring and with Tamara it is a match made in heaven. I don't write reviews - but it is always important to acknowledge the good people in business. After patiently waiting 45 minutes to be seen for my scheduled appointment time, I approached the receptionist to ask how much longer the wait would be because I had another appointment to go to. She told me that she didn't know and that I had to wait my turn because everyone else there was dealing with something too and had other things to attend to after the appointment just like myself. She was condescending towards me but whenever my mom spoke with her, she was polite. I just asked a simple question and was met with impoliteness for no apparent reason. I don't think someone who lacks customer service skills should be sitting front desk dealing with customers.

I had a very disappointing experience at Nicklaus Children's urgent care during my baby's visit…read moreyesterday. My 5-month-old son had developed an unusual discharge from his penis, so we brought him in to be evaluated. Unfortunately, the doctor who came into the room never even introduced herself, so I do not know her name. From the moment she walked in, her tone was loud, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude toward both my husband and me. While examining my baby, she forcefully pulled back his foreskin even after I explained that I only retract it gently as far as it naturally goes without forcing it. She continued to pull it further back, which caused visible fissures and pain to the tip of his foreskin. Seeing my baby in pain because of an unnecessary action was extremely upsetting. After that, she stated that the only way to know what was happening was to catheterize my baby to obtain a urine sample. When I respectfully declined that option, she became irritated and began lecturing us about how parents' fears sometimes prevent problems from being detected early. While I understand that doctors need to explain risks and options, the way she spoke to us was judgmental and unprofessional. What made the interaction even more shocking was the way she asked about my son's care. Instead of using appropriate medical language, she asked, "Do you guys peel it back?" This wording felt extremely inappropriate and unprofessional for a pediatric medical setting. As parents, we came in concerned about our baby's health and expected compassion, professionalism, and respectful communication. Instead, we felt dismissed, judged, and our baby was physically hurt during the examination. I brought my child with no sort of pain , just looking for a diagnosis. Now I have him at home suffering from that bad procedure and guess what , with not a single answer I hope the hospital takes patient experience and bedside manner seriously, especially when dealing with infants and worried parents.

I am a 41 year old 4 time per week jiu-jitsu practitioner for the last 4.5 years. I got a groin…read moreinjury unrelated to jiu-jitsu on my left leg. Over 5 weeks I walked around in pain and discomfort. A friend from the dojo recommended I see Dr. Abbate. The first day I saw him, I couldn't even squat half way down, even less train jiu-jitsu. Fast forward three weeks later and I am back doing jiu-jitsu although not 100% because groin injuries take months to heal. However, my leg feels strong, stable and the pain is virtually gone. His use of technology and programs allowed me to really understand visually and physically where the injury was and every area that was effected by it. We spoke in detail on all related matters how we were going make it better with his system. He used the cupping technique which really was effective with the exercises given, he gave multiple levels of exercises to work my way up to the strength that I need to be at and all the guidance and resources needed to continue his work on my own.
