After living there for 25 years, I definitely needed an upgrade to my home - as well as a solid realtor to get me the best value out of my investment. Jolin and I talked in length about my plans, what I thought we should do to get the property to market, timelines, etc., and she provided me with the proper perspective and what she thought were realistic goals. Jolin has incredible resources - she secured a handyman/contractor that basically did a complete remodel - kitchen, installation of all new appliances, a new half bath, stairwells, flooring, paint, etc. for a very reasonable cost which added much more value to my property. The townhouse was also part of a self managed HOA (and I was the president) so she helped me navigate what had to be done to transition out from the HOA, helping me determine paperwork and a easy handover of the management of the property to the other members of the HOA, and to ensure that all the documents, insurance, building/maintenance requirements and various required reports were in place. We also secured a preferred lender to review everything ahead of time to ensure we wouldn't run into any unexpected delays when an offer was made on the property. We ran into our share of issues, but everything was handled very efficiently and with reasonable costs. The entire operation went smoothly - almost all the paperwork was done pretty much online which was so convenient - and we got offers within 10 days of listing, and the buyer was highly motivated and we closed escrow on the property in about 30 days. We got the price we wanted - she is a great negotiator - and I couldn't be happier with the ways things went. Dealing with real estate matters is no easy task, and we had our share of challenges - but Jolin met every obstacle with solutions in a timely and reasonable manner. If you want someone on your side that's reliable, knowledgable, resourceful and is a great person to boot, Jolin gets very high marks from me. Highly recommend.
