I do not recommend this insurance agency. I have a claim in for the last week. They have wanted all sorts of documentation. Which I have provided. But then they turn around and want more documentation after you give them what they want. Now they asking for personal bank statements. I have gotten nowhere with this. I feel as though are just beating around the bush. I have had to take two days off because they refuse to approve the claim for me to get a rental. They were calling people from my call logs that I provided without permission. I feel like this is borderline harassment and invasion of privacy. Go elsewhere for auto insurance. I had an accident with a Progressive customer, they were at fault, Progressive said I was and it took a year to get my deductible back through subrogation. I guess they can't read and properly interpret traffic laws. read more

We had Geico insurance but for 3 cars it was a little expensive. So we started researching & found progressive to have good reviews and a high rating. It was also $200 cheaper than what we paid for Geico. First year we had no claims but they increased our premium anyway by $200. Apparently our premium was increased since there were many claims in my state..we were surprised to say the least. During our 2nd year my Lexus got vandalized at a mall parking lot during Christmas time. They tried to pry open my door so there's a gap..obviously we claimed. Progressive acted cheap & wanted to pay very minimum to get it fixed..they refused to pay for a dent as I forgot to list it on my claim online. I just gave a basic description online thinking that when they call I can give them all the details. Apparently that was a problem & they refused to pay to get the dent fixed. In addition, I had to deal with multiple reps taking care of my claim (one was national, next I had to speak with state or local one). In the end we were frustrated. Later our premium went up again..ultimately we ended up with a premium of $3-400 higher than Geico. I'm sure the premium for owners in the state was increased again citing higher claims. Guess that's how they advertise cheaper than the competition and then get back the apparent savings. We switched back to geico as they were really nice to us. We pay for our premiums and are safe in the knowledge that we won't have frivolous price increases. We also get the service that we expect from our insurance company without having to fight for claims that should be awarded to us. Progressive is only about making good TV commercials, in reality they are full of crap! read more
