Today was the 2nd time something like this happened out there. I took my 03 pickup in yesterday and told Kevin I think the starter is going out. He called this morning and said they pulled it in, looked at it and found the nut holding the power cable on had backed off just enough to lose connection intermittently. They could have just stuck a new starter on and charged $300 or $400. They charged a half hour labor and handed the key back with a smile. It's stuff like that that keeps folks coming back. I wish they worked on boats too. I can't express to you how highly I recommend these guys.

I approached Richard Foster about an issue with my ability to shift gears smoothly as I had been able to do immediately after he did the repair work. I drove in from St. Louis (95 miles) to discuss the issue and the first thing he did was point to the 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty clause on his invoice and informed me that I was outside the warranty and he wouldn't cover the cost of any repairs. I argued that my first transmission lasted over 203,000 miles and I was already having issues after only 15,000 miles since he worked on my transmission. Richard than stated that the problem must be the clutch master cylinder (a $65 part) but he refused to do any testing or problem solving. When I suggested that I would take the matter to court he became very irate and told me that I did not matter to him and to leave the premises. His wife then called the police. Maybe he thought since I lived in St. Louis he could get away with his unprofessionalism, but he clearly doesn't stand behind his work.

It renewed my faith in humanity to see such incredible customer service and to be treated like a human, not just dollar signs. Not only did they repair my vehicle, but they did it within the quote they gave me, and when it went long, they paid for my rental car until they had it fixed. They back their service with a warranty, and will do everything to make things right if there are any issues. I have nothing more to say other than this: If you want good reliable service done on your transmission, and you want down to earth hard-working people to do it and also explain it to you, and you need it to be within the quote they give you, and you need that quote to be reasonable in the first place... this is the place for you.

Unfortunately for Andy and myself, it needed a major repair. Andy got me a tow, a ride to the airport, and I was on my way. A few weeks later, Andy met me at the airport, with my truck. Quoted me over $2000 dollars worth of repairs for my car I looked up prices for parts that were needed and showed them and asked why they charge so much more and all the lady said was we make money here it's what we do i wasn't gonna let them take advantage of me just cause I was a young college student I took my car home to my hometown shop and had them look at and they said there was only one thing that needed fixed would not recommend them for anything more then a oil change
