I have been with progressions credit Union since 1980 when I was born. I've even moved out of state and I can say without a doubt that this is the best bank that I've ever been a part of. They are always so helpful. So kind and so generous with any mistake. I might make. The best thing about this bank is that it is a credit union that you want for profit and therefore 100% the people who own it and the people who are part of it. I remember going as a kid and always loving the fact that they have a piece of candy for me. I want to thank Karen Gomez for all her help. I was a little stressed on getting some things taken care of which were very crucial to get done. Karen figured everything out and I felt so at ease after working with her. She was very efficient and really cared about getting me taken care of. I am an out of towner doing business with a Spokane local who banks here. The ladies in this office stayed late to help us and were so professional. I couldn't have been happier with the service we received even for me who is not a member. I highly recommend doing business with this credit union based on the experience I had. read more

To plan my driving route I called Progressions at 10:34 and asked if I can get out $1800 cash with shared branching. They said $500 with teller or that amount was fine at the ATM and "asked a supervisor" to verify. At 11:15 I arrived and the ATM only allows $800. When I asked a teller they told me tough luck, can't help you. Called my CU the withdrawal limit was not the issue. This would cost me an hour of extra driving, 30 minutes each way. The tellers were rude and condescending to me. I asked for a manager and was told to sit in the lobby and wait. As I did they commented about me and laughed thinking I couldn't hear them but the lobby echoes their voices quite well. 'I guess he's just going to keep waiting (and not leave) so we better call her'. Pathetic customer service. At 12:00 I got my cash. read more

This financial institution was my go to in the past. Recently it has become difficult to get any assistance from staff at this credit union. Even after multiple phone calls and emails there is no response. I probably will not be doing any financial business here in the future. Honestly, I would give this place a negative star if it were possible. First, I have to reset my password every time I log into the painfully archaic website, and I have the password written down. Secondly, the "website" has been down for maintenance so many times I've lost count, and I just opened my accounts in July. Thirdly, some of their employees have no idea what they're doing. When I opened my accounts, I expressed I wanted to be signed up for e-statements(there's an actual financial reason for this). I was told no problem. Next month, I get a paper statement and it cost me financially. When I call to ask why I was getting a paper statement, I was told I need to opt out of it online. The person who opened my accounts was "mistaken" when they said they had done it for me. Also, when I opened the account, I SPECIFICALLY SAID IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT I DID NOT WANT OVERDRAFT PROTECTION. I said if the money's not there, don't clear it. Let the payment not go through. I said this in front of a witness. Well, I pulled all my money out of my primary account and cancelled my reoccurring charges. There were some, however, that I had trouble contacting. Well thinking the charges I had as reoccurring would not go through and the companies I couldn't reach would then contact me, I left it as that. Nope! They still cleared the charges, and so far have put me $115 in the negative . I have no idea what the person who opened my accounts was doing other than taking my money. They certainly did not set up a single one of the provisions they said they had. Also, they don't work Mondays, the website is down every weekend, and there's no way to get any help or support outside of their business hours. Allegedly, this used to be the best credit union in town. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I'll be closing all my accounts before the end of the week. read more

I used to love banking here. However in the last year it has become a compete shit show. It's never the same people working there which makes me feel uncomfortable. And the one gal that is a familiar face is Extremely rude like shes soooo much better than everyone. There was a point major fraud on the account and it was looked into which I super appreciate however the company refunded the money . Hundreds of dollars....... The money was never refunded to my bank account and the company even sent proof they had refunded money back to the bank. Now I completely understand accidents happen. Maybe the money was put into the wrong account on accident . However when asking employees about it they get super sketchy all the sudden like they know somebody did something wrong/illegal. Highly suspect. Again I really did used to love this cu. also their communication is HORRIBLE . Leave a msg ok somebody will call you back ..... nobody EVER does absolutely zero follow through. Just be careful guys! Potlatch credit union is a super awesome C U as another option ! Oh snap also I called in had forgot my account # I simply gave the person my name and they just were like ok and got right into my account.... dude ...... that's f Ed . Update November 6, 2018: it has been 2.5 years since my father died. Today I got a private message from Jason at Progressions, asking me to come back to the "Progressions credit union family". He told me I had posted a "recent review" and was responding, telling me I was a valued customer. I lost my shit. This Jason fellow either has little or no reading comprehension. In what part in my review of this establishment have I ever hinted I would ever return to the institution? Short answer: never. I had to explain to Jason the entire situation from beginning to end, all over again, because he messaged me without reading the entire review, nor asking his coworkers anout this incident before contacting me. Thanks Jason for making me relive a trauma just before the holidays! Not necessary! Anyway, it's been two and a half years, and I still have never received an apology from the jerk who ended up %*#^ing me over in the first place (who still works there!). Nah, fam. I have been with PCU for about 10 yrs. Having been with a couple other Credit Unions over 25 years. I find PCU the Best of all of Them. I Live in the Seattle area by the way. 300 miles away. The serves and rates are the Best. Even have my 3 children and 2 grandchildren signed up. One lives in Portland. Great Customer Service. Friendly and helpful staff and management. I wanted to like this credit union. I've had positive experiences with the tellers. I'm so frustrated by their archaic systems. I opened an account here separate from my husband's just for myself. I use this for my own spending money or surprises for him. My account is constantly bouncing around. I plan to close the account tomorrow. Everything bounces due to "insufficient funds" but then give it a day or so and it all levels back out and I see the refunds for the insufficient funds. The balances are completely inaccurate when you have pending transactions. It is beyond frustrating. I'll check my balance and see next to nothing in there then the next morning the totals come back up to what they should be. If I try to use my debit card while the balances are seemingly low (even though they're not really!) it will be denied. So many things have bounced because I have multiple pending transactions and it lowers the available funds to next to nothing until it finalizes and gives you access to your money again. It's caused so many unnecessary headaches for us. I've never had this problem with any other bank or credit union. Again, I wanted so badly to like them because the people I've encountered are friendly but they're so behind technologically. Also ATM's are archaic and depositing money/checks takes forever to hit your account if you use the ATMs. read more

Worst banking institution I've ever worked with. They have the most unfriendly user policies and charge customers for every small interaction. They also can't take a debit card from another bank to help make payments. Everything needs to be done the old fashioned way with paper. Oh yes, then they charge you for working with a teller. Their systems go down constantly. Their cards stop working. My money is held hostage. Do yourself a favor and find a more-establish and customer-friendly business. read more

Everyone that works there that I've dealt with are absolutely amazing! They go out of there way to make sure your needs are met. Barb helps me the most and she has been absolutely incredible, she did everything it took to help me get my jeep loan. And being a first time car buyer with little credit that couldn't of been easy.
