I was adamant that I attend a "Basic Firearms" class prior to attending the CCW course. Our instructor today, "Duke," was an amazing listener, instructor, and demonstrator. A 40 year military man with decades of service (Flew B-52's in the Air Force) and firearms expertise, The Duke was such a gift. His analysis during our live fire practice was insightful, gracious in its' delivery, and had immediate results in our shooting. Duke spent time using his skills to align my Romeo Red Dot Sight device. His sense of humor, combined with a very obvious passion for helping others become comfortable and proficient firearm owners, meant there was never a moment where I felt unsure or reluctant to ask any question. The service provided by Lexie in the retail store was also so relaxed and helpful. I purchased some items that The Duke suggested, and my Aunt spent time with Lexie looking at handguns. Lexie was very sweet, honest, and fun. Above and beyond our expectations at R-42 Brunswick LLC! Bravo!

They have a pretty decent selection firearms and the range is pretty nice, but their ammo selection is greatly lacking, and they have an extremely limited selection of accessories, cases, less-lethal, and other misc items. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous. They almost never even greet customers coming into the store, and they often flat-out ignore you when you want to look at a gun. I have walked out in frustration numerous times because they've failed to show guns in a timely manner, and they've lost out on sales because of it. I understand that they don't pay their employees very well and it's not exactly the best job, but I still expect them to act professional and courteous. It's honestly pretty ridiculous. There's always like 5× the amount of employees working that there is customers in the store, but yet they still can't be bothered to help you. If it wasn't so close to me, I wouldn't go there, but unfortunately they're one of the closest gun stores around. Their prices are pretty decent on firearms, but that doesn't mean much if they stand there and stare at you rather than actually show you what you wanna look at. As much as I get irritated going to Cleveland Armory down the road due to the dog walking around their store, at least they'll make a sale rather than ignore you. It's really irritating, and I've given them quite a few chances to improve and come back dozens of times, but yet they never seem to get their act together. There's plenty of other gun stores and ranges nearby thst would be happy to have business, and I'd rather shop somewhere that actually values their customers.

If that was not racially profiling us, yes we are black and are women. I was the one who recommended this establishment with deep regret. Their prices on guns are competitive and they stock a good selection. Also they can order almost anything you might want if not in stock. In addition to individual training, they offer many instructive and fun group classes at low prices. Their annual membership is a huge bargain if you are like me and go once a month or more. One more thing; they sell used guns on consignment at great prices for those looking for a bargain, or to sell what they no longer shoot. And their commission on those sales is more than fair.
