I went to move a few planters that were on top of the septic…read moretank , when I moved one there was a big hole under it , no cement where it should have been for the top of the septic tank, I called my husband over and I pulled another planter away and yup no cement.Now that was really scary we had zero idea where the cement could have gone and since we also had no idea about septic tanks or that they had a life span we figured be had best call RT septic. Out here where we live everyone has septic tank so we had heard of RT septic over the years , they were good people and did a great job so we knew who to call. I called a neighbour and got the number called and talked with Tammy she seemed to know what had happened and said that she would have Rick come over and check everything out. When he got here I told him what was going on, he walked around checking things out and gave me an estimate. That really impressed me that he knew right away what was going on * it seemed the top had disintegrated enough to fall down * and could give an estimate that soon, now it was a bit expensive BUT it is a big job that needed to be done. They have financing available if you look on their web page , it's easy to figure out and apply .I applied , got approved * if you need any help applying Tammy is always ready to help out * and was ready for Rick to come on out and fix everything. Darcy was the first out he's a REALLY good guy he backed up and got his part done, the rest of the crew showed up right away before Darcy was finished, very impressive RT have all of the equipment they will need, It I am sure makes the job a lot easier when you have everything needed and don't have to count on some one else to show up with a piece of equipment. Everyone was wonderfully polite and got right at the job, if Robb or I were near by they would take the time to explain what they were doing , it seems a septic tank has a life span ... and that life span is a LOT shorter than 70 years , who knew. sheesh. I think it is very much one of those out of sight out of mind things it took them just under 5 hours we now have a new tank that is pretty cool and will last the rest of our lives and probably our grand childrens lives making it worth a lot of money if we want to sell our place.We were told what all the parts were , how to take care of them and are on the list for RT to come out every few years 3 - 5 to check it and do what needs doing.So from beginning to end it didn't take much time at all, Rick and his grew were very patient and polite,they let us know if we had any questions or concerns to call them and get the answers, the absolute best in customer service. everything is done, These guys are truly as good as we had heard over the years , I would certainly reccomend them to everyone , and if you haven't had your tank checked in a while maybe have them stop by and check it for you it's worth the time and could save you time and a lot of money. Located next to the St. Albert Recycling Depot at the Public Works Building, watch for the blue sani-dump sign right before the entrance. Open 24/7, it's not barricaded, and in an industrial area, you can dump later if you must without disturbing anyone. Two dumps, well situated, easy to line up, and both with non-potable water taps. Drive through on a one-way loop, one lane is sloped, the other not so a hump was added to tip your rig towards the drop for maximum efficient dumping. Non-potable water for rinsing, but pressure was great for using the spray wand in the black tank, and rinsing out the dump line. Large barrel garbage bins with bag liners to drop your gloves after you've finished your business. It's a clean, and very well laid out sani-dump. Definitely would recommend and will be back!

The plumber we dealt with for many years seems to be under new management because they wouldn't install something not purchased at their shop. They won't get any more of my business as well as all the plumbers who won't do a small job like mine. I found Adrian through Yelp and he showed up the next day at the promised time. (How long has it been since that happened to you?) He also honoured his quote even though it took more time than he estimated plus he gave us a senior's discount (YAY!!!). He takes VISA, a service that sometimes small businesses skip.The sink was left squeaky clean.
