from the minute Todd came into my home he was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and i even had to help him do his job even after he was a complete di*k to me! some idiot named Todd came into my home to "auger" two drains in my home that my landlord said That i clogged with foam... this turned out to be untrue (i have videos and pictures to prove it). So Todd starts snaking the one drain that is supposed to be completely clogged, this takes quite a while since he can't seem to find this massive blockage caused by foam I supposidly put there. since I know I'm right about there not being foam clogging the drain I ask Todd about 15 minutes in if he found this foam.. he says to me ..."oh yeah tons of foam in here" ... instantly Im like nope you're wrong but I'll let it play out. Todd's next move after snaking is to fill up a 20 lb bucket of water and dump it into this drain in order to bring the massive amounts of foam to the suface so he can just grab it and pull it out. I watch this man dump this massive bucket of water down this drain so quickly with no water breaching the surface of the drain.... This is where he then tells me he needs my help. he fills up a second 20 lb bucket of water and tells me to grab the foam while He pours the water in the drain since it's draining too fast for him to do it. (But it's clogged right...weird) so he pours it in... I wait and wait nothing comes up, finally he just dumps it super quickly , enough at one time that the water comes up just enough for me to shove my forearm into the drain and take out foam that was floating on the surface of the water.... It was two tiny pieces .... (i have photos of these pieces and a video of him picking the pieces Up after) . i immediately stand up and record a video where I ask the dumb douchebag Todd if that was it and he says "well it could drain a little quicker i guess" and starts packing up his "tools" aka a bucket and some random hand tools. And since Todd is a useless moron he goes to leave without doing the second drain that he was supposed to do. now my idiot landlord was waiting outside for the result apparently , and since Todd forgot he was supposed to do two drains my landlord makes him go back in for the second one. Todd snakes the second drain, then tells me landlord, and my mother who i asked to be there instead of me if my landlord showed up ...( cause I'll knock that little dweeb into next year if we ever cross paths Again) that he isn't going to do the second drain since there was no need , it was not clogged and was working just fine. NOW HERE COMES THE KICKER!!!! THIS MOTHER FUC*ER TODD WRITES IN HIS REPORT "TENANT POURED FOAM INTO THE DRAIN FOR WHATEVER REASON...TENANT PAYS" Then he underlined TENANT PAYS a couple times for Some reason. AND BECAUSE OF THIS DUMB PIECE OF SHI* IM BEING SUED AND EVICTED! not just me that's being evicted , that includes my father, who jusssssttttttt got out of a coma due to falling ill with covid. He's now on an oxygen tank and can barely walk, but he's being evicted... in the middle of winter while on oxygen. So I call up this incompetent bag of dic*s and tell him to explain himself since he left out pretty major pieces of the assessment ... like how it WASNT CLOGGED... and that he DIDNT AUGER ANYTHING HE JUST POURED BUCKETS OF WATER INTO A DRAIN AND MADE ME GRAB THE ONLY LITTLE PIECES OF FOAM FLOATINF ON THE SURFACE!!! OH AND THAT HE DIDNT EVEN NEED TO DO THE SECOND DRAIN CAUSE IT WAS WORKING FINE!!! Nope this dumb ass just wrote what he wrote cause he's an absolute moron And I'm wondering if hes a relative of my landlord or something. but during this phone call the idiot Todd says he is right Around the corner and will come talk to me... I wait 3 hours and he never shows up. So I text him ... he responds by pretty much telling me to go fuck myself , and when I say dide I have you on video , he says he Is blocking me and that Ill Be seeing legal action from Him!!!! LIKE WHAT THE HELL KIND OF BUSINESS YOU RUNNING OVER THERE TODDDDDDD YOU PATHETIC WASTE OF SKIN??? So not only did this idiot not do Any augering but instead just dumped water into a drain... but I even helped him do his job.. and he stilllll charged me for it and then completely lied on his assesment just so My landlord would have reason to kick me out. I wish I would have found out about Todd before I spent a ton on contractors who didn't know what they were doing or didn't care. We owned a 10 suite apartment and were having drain problems. I spent several hundred dollars with our plumbing contractor who had recently been bought out by a fellow far worse than the previous owner, and he made no improvement in the drains. He recommended a well known drain cleaning company which must have been started by someone named Johnny, who charged me $400 to clean one drain. They allegedly went down 25' (remember this) and the problem was still there. I went to another plumber who was referred to me. He had a couple guys come in and clean, no result. His guys then hauled some apparatus onto the roof and cleaned all the drains allegedly 50' down, no result. Luckily he was just as efficient with his billing and after I called him 3 times to send me my bill, he never did. Finally another plumber, Riteway Plumbing (another excellent firm) recommended Todd at Ace to me. Todd cleaned the entire building (4 drains) for $750 give or take and all my problems went away instantly. Apparently he found a blockage only 12' down the one drain that the first company allegedly went down 25' on. The difference is that Todd knows what he is talking about, including properly sizing the cleaning head for the drainpipe so that it cleans it properly. read more

If I had to spend my life cleaning unmentionable dreck from plumbing and sewers, I would end up so grouchy my wife would leave me. I know this because I tried to unblock my kitchen sink with a hand snake but couldn't get it past a tight corner on the line. I had visions of days of washing dishes in the bathroom as I assumed Ace would schedule us in whenever. To our surprise, Todd said he could fit us in that afternoon at his regular flat rate. Despite the nature of his job, Todd showed up mid afternoon and asked all the right questions about our house. Then he carried out a nasty job in good humour. His power auger got around the dipsy-doodle in our ancient plumbing. He even noticed that all the corrosive stuff I put down the sink in a vain hope I could unblock it had corroded the strainer basket. He replaced that with a better part at cost. To put the icing on the cake (not a good metaphor for blocked drains), Todd reached into his tools and pulled out a clean rag and a bottle of cleaner and wiped up his mess and our dirt as well. Our sink now makes gurgling sounds we haven't heard for years and all our dishes got cleaned in the kitchen that night. Todd responded almost instantly to my request for a quote even though it was late in the day, and scheduled me in for the next business day. I contacted Todd at ACE this morning after our sewer backed up into our basement. He prioritized my call, recognizing that we could not flush!!! Todd arrived an hour and a half later and cleaned out the sewer line thoroughly so that functionality of the system was resumed. He is personable, professional, neat, tidy and careful while moving his equipment in the house. His rate is extremely reasonable with an additional 20% seniors discount for folks over 60. Can't recommend Todd enough! My first quote for a methane smell coming from a toilet from a different plumbing company was almost $800 and that was with them literally only flushing my toilet and warned us we might have to open our wall up.
