Do Not Recommend ! Very disappointed with the lack of…read moretransparency and communication regarding plumbing charges issued to owners. Charges were applied without proper details, itemized invoices, or a clear explanation of the work completed and how responsibility was determined. No written estimate, quote, or contract was ever provided prior to the work or charges being issued, which is highly concerning from both a professional and accountability standpoint. Despite requests, neither the plumber nor condo management has provided sufficient documentation to justify the costs. Owners should not be expected to pay unexplained charges without proper disclosure and supporting information. Transparency, communication, and proper documentation are basic expectations in professional property management, and unfortunately that has not been the experience here. READ EVERYTHING BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY…read more.. Everything started with an evening visit for a quotation to move my Gas Stove to another place in my kitchen. There was a promise that I would receive the quote on the following morning. It did not happen... Apparently, their office works only in the morning, so I had to wait for the next day. First of all, they charge you an OFFICE FEE to apply for a permit, what is understandable, however YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF for FREE, online. **Also be aware that they will include the PERMIT amount PLUS the OFFICE FEE on your invoice. They will sum everything and CHARGE you GST on the total amount and not ONLY on the OFFICE FEE** Also, the City inspection (AFTER the work was done) took my wife 1.5 minutes (not exaggerating) to be done and the company wanted to charge me $40.00 to move the Van PLUS time service. Bruce even tried to convince me to not do it myself because the questions would be hard and I am not a plumber. DO IT YOURSELF for FREE. Second, they don't start the job early in the morning because they have to run to the store to buy the supplies (Bruce told me). Then, it makes sense that they request you 40% ahead But Bruce left in the middle of the service to get the parts... So ,the quotation that was done before (I assumed that he knew what he would need) was for nothing? In addition, they charged me for this period while Bruce was gone and Mike was on his phone (not cutting walls or doing some job related) while he was waiting for Bruce. Mike arrived on time, but he couldn't start without Bruce, because the tools were in Bruce's Van. Bruce arrived 10 min late, but the time counting has started before the work started... BE AWARE. Also the time at the end while they are cleaning up their tools counts too... ****The service was well done and Bruce and Mike were super clean in everything they have done. I can't complain about the service, On the other hand, their office manager (or whoever mad the calculations) should be fired.*** That is why I am giving 2 stair and not only 1. The estimate came in an overpriced amount, what is NOT uncommon when we are dealing with trades. Sometimes what was planned needs to change, however I paid for 40% ahead, as required on the estimate, and after the job was done the amount that I was supposed to pay was SMALLER than the amount that I have sent by e-transfer BEFORE they started working, it means, the company owed me money at the end. I let it go, because the job was really well done Then, I received an email from their office telling me that I owed them a certain amount from that Office fee for the permit application. The amount was smaller than the amount that the COMPANY OWED ME... So I did not understand and I didn't want to pay, but my wife convinced me to pay. I paid, but I asked about the calculations and for my surprise they OWED ME money AGAIN and Bruce told me that my money was going to be refund the next day. The next day came and suddenly I OWED MONEY AGAIN... I know!!! Very confusing! I asked for a break down on the receipt and the calculations did not match... I had paid more money than I owed but I STILL OWED THE COMPANY MONEY. It was like... Leo "You paid me 10 and you owed me 7, so you owe us 3." Yes I know, crazy right? Anyway, be careful with their calculations when you hire them... They are good workers, but terrible in Math...
