Anton Matveev is a liar, has a horrible patient side manner to include assault & a terrible memory…read more Upon my 1st visit I was explaining military incidents & VA treatments & he asked if I was sure I was receiving that treatment. I think it's unprofessional to ask me if I'm lying about VA treatment. Matveev could of asked for my clinical notes to read the specifics so that a patient doesn't know his internal feelings that he thinks we're liars or can't remember our specific treatment methods. At that same visit, even though I brought all my MRI discs in with me, he was dismissive & stated he believes my pain only stems from my neck & radiates downward. I reiterated the neck & other locations happened different years in the military & are separate. I showed him the report & told him they uploaded my MRI of my other location. Matveev then said he can do an ultrasound & take a look to verify. Upon doing an ultrasound he stated he did see the injuries BUT he never apologized for being dismissive. Matveev discussed hydrodissection & I asked for the ingredients since I'm allergic to some things. He gave it to me & I looked it up & told him that was ok to use on me. We set a follow-up appt BUT at that follow-up appt for my 1st set of injections I'm asking him about the specifics and he wouldn't answer me. After the injections he tells me he altered the procedure & didn't use dextrose because he thought I was allergic. I had to remind him that I looked it up in front of him & told him it was ok. I also told him I'm not use to a medical employee not going over the procedure prior to it starting. You can't make a decision without an individual approving that beforehand. A patient's body is not "property" of anyone. Matveev also unprofessionally compared my injuries to other patients my age. Since I'm not an identical twin in DNA to anyone & you don't treat my blood related family, then you can't compare me to strangers. To have an idea about a person's potential "degenerative" path, you must compare older blood family members such as siblings, parents and/or grandparents. If my blood related elders are perfectly healthy in their bone structure and joints etc., then my injuries incurred in my 20s have nothing to do with "normal degenerative" findings for a person my age based off of strangers my age. This verbiage is a constant unprofessional take on individualized care. Matveev then wanted to talk about my aggravated body language & why I seem I'm displeased when he speaks. So I discussed the above with him. I told him my pet peeve is being called a liar & you don't know me, so speaking in that manner is always going to set me off. Then I said do you know how often a female is asked questions like "are you sure you own this home by yourself?..." etc. Matveev only then humbled himself & said he now hears it & apologized for his verbiage. My last appointment which was the final straw. I told him that the VA did a painful procedure (because I keep all physicians informed in different networks). He asked me to stand up & face the wall away from him while he sat behind me. He grabbed my shoulders & swiftly turned me to the right & said I need you to turn like that for me. A sharp pain stabbed me due to the VA procedure location. I told him you CANNOT turn me like that. The next task he did the same thing again. I told him not to do that again. Then he lied and said I needed 2 separate appts on 2 different days to accomplish the next series of injections. He stated insurance doesn't allow 2 appointments with the same medical person on the same day. I decided to not call him out in his lie. I was getting a procedure covered by insurance & another procedure I was paying out of pocket so the out of pocket procedure has nothing to do with insurance for regenerative services. So there would only be 1 appt that involved insurance but at this point with the unwanted physical touching and the history of his unprofessional behavior & narratives, I was done. There are better & cheaper regenerative places I now know about like ROSM.

In the meantime, I receive various confirmations about my appointment. I had no idea that they never received the confirmation from Worker's Comp. but continue to send me confirmations for my appointment. I showed up here for my appointment only to be met at the registration desk with "we do not have a confirmation from your Worker's Comp". I proceeded to say why wasn't I informed that nobody got a confirmation and it's been three weeks? Some blame shifting took place. I was very upset that I drove here 30 minutes away and to wait about two hours to not be seen nor met with any compassion for this situation at hand. The way in which the conversation took place, you would have thought that it was my fault, and I should have confirmed with them, though I am the one who seeking help from a five star orthopedic. This is unfortunate. Maybe you will have a different experience, but I just wasted three hours driving to and from and waiting there just to not be seen. Awful!

They really make you feel good , even as a person . No feeling of judgement in any way and they order the tests to find the cause, however , they already pretty much know and describe it perfectly. That's bc they really listen. Shirley is so amazing ! Charlene is like the whole sun and not just a ray of it. Debbie is the sweetest woman I think I have ever spoken to in my life. I wish that all of my Dr's offices were like this. I can't remember the females name that did my pain contract, but she is also so kind and uplifting. It's nice to finally be in an environment so full of positive energy. They also donate to the animal shelter!! How can anyone not like a place that cares so much about animals and people ?! IMO- I wouldn't listen to the negative reviews , Some people are just impossible to please and aren't happy unless they complain , just stop. They are here to help you, there is no need to be difficult towards them . Thank you again to everyone at Newbridge Spine and Pain center , for restoring my hope in the medical field

While waiting in the lobby, where every seat was stained with something, I was kept company by a gentleman in a wheelchair moaning who was waiting longer than me. After filling the 20 plus pages of entrance paperwork 3 weeks prior, I was then promoted to wait the day of by the staff while they entered my paperwork and requested a copy of my MRI(all this information was given to them 3 weeks prior). Upon finally entering the exam room, I was greeted by big traps full of bugs, patched up walls and smell of something. Oh, did I mention they pressured me on filling out paperwork to see the sleep apnea doctor next door, which I did not do. The Doctor finally comes in and proceeds to tell me on how they will schedule me to come back in a month for a urine test and then to go over treatment options then. I could go deeper, but my thumbs hurt.

Egads! Stay away from this place…read more The admin staff is so unorganized they can not keep up with an authorization document even 1 day. Yesterday I emailed a document they already had sent to them originally by OrthoNet and today an Admin person calls to cancel my last appointment covered by the emailed document. What the f***! Furthermore, the Admin staff sent an authorization request to OthoNet to approve more PT sessions for me BUT (big but) FAILED to send updated progress notes. The present authorization letters from OrthoNet clearly states, "When requesting additional visits, the physician or therapy provider will need to submit progress notes and current objective clinical data......" There is no room for for misinterpretation. The process is crystal clear. This should be a routine matter for the clinics admin staff. So, long story short, my approval for more PT session is listed as "PENDING" by Orthonet until they get the updated progress notes. I found this out by calling OrthoNet. Mind you, I asked the admin staff (I could call a name but won't), if they had provided all this information and was reassured that they had. Nope, it hasn't happen yet. Having a complete knee replaced comes with a lot of pain. Dealing with the Waldorf Clinic Admin staff is 2-3 times more painful. So, I repeat my previous advice. Stay away from this place. The PTs are good, some Excellent, but that is totally irrelevant if the admin staff is totally inept at handling the paperwork needed before you see a therapist. NOTE: OrthoNet administers the review of PT and OT for GEHA. So if your insurer is GEHA, OrthoNet acts on behalf of GEHA.
