I went there a few times for electrolysis treatments. The treatments are efficient but I always get harrassed by the owner to sell me more products or other kinds of treatments. She's insisting a lot and she seems to be digging for problems with my skin when I was told by several estheticians that my skin is young and in good health. Helene, the owner, has files about all the other brands of beauty products on her computer and she refers to them when we tell her what we are using on our skin. The notes she has on all other products are very negative and apparently even the products recommended by dermatologists are damaging our skin with petrole or other ingredients. I find it weird her selling technique when she brings down huge cosmetic compagnies like Bioderm, La Roche Posay, etc. It's a bit suspicious... The products she sells are apparently bio and fully natural. Since I tried to use them I haven't noticed any improvement on my skin and they are very expensive. Every time I go the same sale's pitch happens ''how old are you?, you will start having problems with this and that if you continue using this product or if you don't use a bio product that we sell, you have brown spots that you need to treat, you should get a facial here because we are the best, you need to buy your own needle for treatments or it's unsafe, you have many hairs in different areas and laser is no good so you should do electrolysis here, blablabla.'' It's very exhausting to hear that every time I go and to not feel bad about how my skin is. I'm now more self-counscious than ever... I warn people I know about the sale technique used there but I recommend the electrolysis done by another person called Nancy. She has to sell products too but is not insisting as much as Helene.
On top of it all, they are always 5 to 15 minutes late on their appointments talking on the phone with friends or clients, or busy selling products to people and keep me waiting in the waiting room. read more
