Built on Coast Guard experience, ABYC-minded principles, and a commitment to quality workmanship, Proffitt Maritime is dedicated to keeping boats safe, reliable, and ready for the water. We believe in honest communication, dependable service, and treating every vessel as if it were our own.
Whether you need electrical diagnostics, electronics upgrades, routine maintenance, or ongoing vessel care, our goal is simple:
We take care of your boat so you don’t have to.
Meet the Business Owner: Seth P.
Seth Proffitt is the founder and owner of Proffitt Maritime, a veteran-owned mobile marine service company serving Southern California’s boating community. After nearly six years in the United States Coast Guard, Seth developed a strong foundation in marine systems, vessel maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety on the water.
Today, he combines that hands-on Coast Guard experience with his studies in Mechanical Engineering to provide practical, reliable marine services for boat owners. His work includes marine electrical diagnostics, wiring repairs, electronics installation, battery systems, preventative maintenance, detailing, and vessel care.
Seth started Proffitt Maritime to help boat owners find honest, dependable support without the stress and confusion that often comes with boat repairs. He believes in clear communication, clean workmanship, and treating every vessel with care.
His goal is simple: keep boats safe, reliable, and ready for the water.
