I'm trying to train to play lacrosse post collegiate level so I was hoping to use this complex to shoot at the goal. I'm not allowed to further practice on Alhambra High School's turf field where I played all 4 years because it's a "liability" issue. Unfortunately the complex owner wouldn't allow me to finish my sentence before being rude to me and saying I'm not allowed to use the complex. This isn't the first time I've experienced aggression and unfriendly manners from the residents of Martinez.

The teachers have been really kind, knowledgeable and my toddler is very excited to attend every week. There are some areas of improvement- like the registration process. But honestly for the price and quality, I do not mind the hassle of registration. This is by no means white glove service. But if you're looking to expose your child to a wide array of sports in a diverse program- this is a good bet! & if you or your kid doesn't like it, well you just lost $40 instead of $400.

I cannot give this place a complete zero or one star because there were some good coaches or…read moreteachers there, but currently I am literally enrolled in the soccer program in the age group for high schoolers. And there used to be a really nice head coach called Coach Brandon. And then he was replaced by this big head honcho coach that thinks he's hot shi cause he taught at some club before or whatever and doesn't get that what he's doing is putting kids that go to learn and have fun down. Coach Christian is the worst head coach I think I've experienced at the CYC for soccer since, like, 2020 times when there was another rude coach. All he teaches are higher-level things that only the boys know how to do. Along with selective nitpicking on girls without actually teaching properly. Almost all the soccer coaches changed, and the only good one I can say that still goes to the practice is Coach Darien, even tho he only shows up occasionally. No clue on the girls only soccer tho so so try at your own risk- TLDR: If you're a newbie and not a boy tryna learn soccer, do NOT go to this place's soccer practice due to the bumahh head coach that acts rude and at least a lil nitpicky to girls

The facility is fine, but pricy at 100$ for an hour in a full cage. When you need to clean up all…read morethe balls this amounts to 100$ for maybe 40 minutes of hitting. The staff there were fine but standoffish which was really awkward. The pitching machine was not plugged in and balls were on the ground when I arrived, halfway through the session the pitching machine broke and I had to go troubleshoot it. Cutting down on more expensive hitting time. Finally the clientele was laughably stereotypical, one guy who sounds like he peaked in 3rd grade was talking about how he was going to get kicked out for starting a fight because someone had the audacity to allow a ball they hit go against a net and bump into him. The egos here are huge and fragile, if you aren't into that I would avoid it. You can find better deals elsewhere. Updated to match my Google review, Michael is not interested in improving himself or his business. That's his decision, albeit a sad one. But notice the pattern of his responses to criticism, not addressing it and going on the offense. This is a display of the fragile ego I speak of above. I wish you the best Michael.

Our draw was cancelled late so we were then unable to signup for singles as well, and since it's 2 days before the weekend, we were unable to signup for any other tournaments! Completely ruined our plan for this weekend and we'd been looking forward to playing in a competitive match, but it was not to be. There was no conversation prior to the cancellation, and no suggestion to allow us to register for singles, but just straight up woke up to not being in the draw and then the director Calvin saying there's nothing he could do! Well why didn't he let us know BEFORE so that we could register for singles or register for another tournament? Completely unprofessional.

We started bringing our now 5 year old to Little Swimmers about 3 1/2 years ago and our now 2 year…read moreold daughter a little over a year ago. We absolutely love it here, the kids adore their instructors. In particular our daughter, she looooves her instructor she can't wait to see her each week. They are both now pool safe which was my biggest concern and why we started swim lessons in the first place. I've recommended little swimmers to multiple friends for a few different reasons. One being they have two indoor pools that are nice and warm, no having to worry about shivering kids while they are in the water. The little pool only has 2 kids to a lesson at a time which is amazing, there are no distractions so my daughter really makes use of her 30 minute lesson. Having only the one lesson at a time in the pool is just priceless because you can hear everything and it's not chaotic like other places we've looked at. The larger pool where my son now swims will have another lesson going on but it's not crowded and still only 2 kids to 1 instructor. They get so much one on one time. Finally, my absolute favorite part about little swimmers is that the instructors are responsible and reliable. My kids aren't stuck with people they don't know each week, they've built trust and friendships with their instructors and that is a HUGE part in why they've become so comfortable and safe in the water. I highly recommend Little Swimmers to anyone looking to get their Kiddos pool safe.
