I contacted Kraig about designing my website because I'm just too busy to try and put it together on my own (I am a former website designer). In fairness, the website looks good. The problem is the company and the leadership mislead and do not deliver on the promises. My clinics have had a website with Chiroplanet (a branch of Professional Planets) for probably 5-6 years between two separate contracts. The last contract was expensive as their leadership informed me that since I was rebranding, I needed "professional help" to clean up the web with my old business information---in order to rank higher on Google, etc. At that time, I was ranked about 4th in my city and brand new in another city due to my new satellite office. Well, I opted for the Gold Package at $499 a month. This was to improve SEO, create custom blogs, etc. After a few months, I realized I was almost dead last in both my areas on Google! Like the end of page 3. My business was suffering and when I reached out, there was never a solution. The Blogs were not optimized to even include my second location. It goes on and on. Lastly, I noticed my FB link was to my previous company---right from my Chiroplanets Website! This was never fixed even on the last day of my contract 2/28/2022. The final straw was an overcharge on my last bill. Yep, as if it couldn't get worse, the last bill they charged my $645 + another $35 on a separate date................why? This is the absolute worse website provider, SEO, and hosting company! I first enlisted their help 7 years ago having heard of them at a convention for Chiros. I signed up a yearly contract with them for 3 years and then renewed with them for another 4. At first they seemed good. good product, good customer service,... but over the years, it seemed that they were more keen on getting new customers than retaining the ones they had. I asked for copies of receipts for accounting purposes, they weren't able to provide that. I asked for a call back regarding info regarding info on my account, it would take days to hear back from someone. When, 7 years later, we decided to upgrade from CMS to Wordpress and go with another company and cancel our subscription with them, it was like pulling teeth. again, I couldn't get anyone from accounting to assist me properly. Now having not been with them for about a year, I regretably had to get their help to reactivate an expiring domain, and again, 4 unreturned emails, and no answer from Justin, it just proves again how low of a priority customer service is. Overall their product is decent and competitively priced. It's their customer service that is horrible. Kraig, if you are reading this, you really need to get a handle on your employees and shift your focus to better customer service. I have been telling my colleagues and NOT to go with Chiroplanet as there are much better providers out there with some semblance and understanding of good customer service! Buyer Beware! I was a client of theirs for many years when I had to retire early due to illness. When I closed my practice I had 2 years left on a 3 year prepaid package. I asked for a partial refund and was given the run around for 2 months. I was then told that they could not give me a refund because the accounting department could not issue a credit for services bought the year before?!? It then changed to the entire amount I had paid was for updating my site. I can not begin to say enough good things about this company, Kraig and Ryan. SEO rating on my old website sucked, as we had a $39 per month website outranking us. Our old website company worked on the problem for 3 months and could never over come a $39 a month website which was 5 pages with no blog. Within 5 days we moved up to the top of the SEO, first page, first position, that is where I want to stay! Think carefully before signing their contracts. I have just finished out my 3-year contract and am in the process of switching companies. In my 3-year contract, I was unable to get updates without signing another lengthy contract. This negatively affected my google ads because the version I had was not mobile responsive. I gave them a certified letter over 2 months ago letting them know my intent (they only require 30 days). It is over a month after the date I requested my contract to be terminated and they still have not released my domain. I have a new website ready to go, have paid (on time, every time) their termination fees, transfer fees, monthly fees, etc. and they are dragging their feet. I get the runaround every time I try to call. They tell me "it's in queue" or "it will get done later today" or "I can't find the paperwork" that I faxed over to them while on the phone to confirm they received it for the second and third times. It is almost like they are doing it maliciously because I chose to move my business elsewhere. Without a proper website, I am losing business left and right because I cannot run my typical online marketing campaigns I depend on for new patients. The domain transfer is simple and should only take a few minutes, but they are making it seem like a long, drawn out complex problem. I have lost thousands of dollars this month alone because they are drawing out the domain transfer as long as they possibly can. read more
