Recently, I had the entire roof and chimney siding replaced. Alfredo Roman came out to meet with me to provide a quote. He used a drone to take video of the roof and throughly discussed his findings. He took his time and went over the catalogue product line, offered suggestions and answered my questions. It was an excellent first meeting. Alfredo offered a competitive price and a good product line. The roof and chimney look amazing! I had some neighbours complimenting the new roof, chimney and inquired about my experience. Alfredo was fantastic and was able to go above and beyond. The roofing and chimney crew were great and worked hard, even in the heat. I would recommend Professional Roofers. Thank-you Alfredo & Crew. read more

We had the flat roof part of our roof replaced by Professional Roofers 4 years ago. When we started having a leak recently in the ceiling of our hallway in the exact same place we had when we had them in to do this work, we called them back and they said they would come and take a look and if it was covered by the warranty, they would fix it. One of their technicians came out, took a look and said that there was no issue with the work they did, and that the leak is coming from the shingles/peak part of our roof, which would now need to be replaced. They took/showed us no pictures, and left the final total amount as the quote to replace that, with costs not broken down by item, just the total. We decided to get two other quotes, and had two highly rated (both 95% or higher on HomeStars) companies come out to do so. Both were SHOCKED at the work done by Professional Roofers and how poorly it was done! Unconnected to each other, each company took many pictures showing us where the work was done wrong, poorly, or incomplete and made comments such as "it looks like it was caulked by a 4 year old", and commented on how they left areas undone, it was improperly edged, the skylights weren't put back on well, etc. They also said that the issue is NOT that the shingles/peak part of our roof needs to be re done and that that is still perfectly fine, but a number of other things need to be fixed now. We called back Professional Roofers, and the person who answered feigned shock, saying that she's "never heard of issues like this with our work before!" (Factually impossible, since other poor reviews right here show that not to be the case!) She then brought over her manager, who completely dismissed us and again just stated " we came and looked and there is no issue with the work that we did, you need to replace the other part of your roof now". Needless to say, we will be using one of these other roofing companies to fix the issues, and will never be using P.R. again, and neither should you! read more

Hired Professional Roofers March 2011 (INV 3905) to fix flat roof with limited 15 year warranty. At that time liked the service we received and hired them again May 2014 (INV 6848) to do traditional house roof and dining room roof. In spring 2016 we called them back to note flat roof was leaking into living room again. At that time they blamed the new windows we were putting in. We held off until new windows and siding were complete and finished as of February 2018. They agreed that windows and siding were not issue. And have not returned any calls for 5 weeks. We have since learned the following: 1. Flat roof did not comply with both code and original signed off building specifications, as Professional Roofers recommended to remove the flat roof central drain. 2. Flat roof was not sealed to old part of house with flange 3. When new roof was installed above dining roof, roofers actually cut the seal to the flat roof 4. Proper metal flange and seal around all of flat roof is missing What this means is if we have more than an inch of water on the roof, it will not drain away and instead leaks around all of the edges of the roof - and where they cut the seal when they put in the new dining room roof. Our only options have been to wait for natural evaporation to take its course, or remove excess water physically (e.g. shovelling over edge of roof). Said differently we always must have three buckets in our living room. Although they were supposed to have put in a new plywood layer across the roof. There are multiple "soft spots". A new professional roofer opened up these spots to find all rotten wood and carpenter ants. We are now looking at having to redo the whole flat roof. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT HIRE THIS ROOFER UNLESS THE CITY SIGNS OFF CONFIRMING THEIR WORK IS TO CODE. AND WE RECOMMEND YOU HIRE A GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO SUPERVISE THEIR WORK. AND KEEP IN MIND THEY DO NOT SEEM TO HONOUR WARRANTIES OR RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS FOR OVER FIVE WEEKS DESPITE TWICE A WEEK PHONE CALLS AND TEXTS. AFTER SPENDING OVER $20K ON THEM WE EXPECTED BETTER. read more

The company sales person came and without inspecting the roof said that we would need to spend $9400 for replacing shingles. He assured me that home insurance would be pay the whole amount. He asked me to sign the quote and send it to him and the home insurance claim. Later, insurance informed us that their estimator valued the work at $5600 and the quoted price was very high. We cancelled Professional Roofers immediately and then they informed me that we had signed a contract and that it was our fault that we did not read the fine print. They tried scaring tactics with collection agencies and lien on house for 10% cancellation fee. Very unprofessional, rude and malevolent! read more

a week ago * * * * * * * * * * * CAUTION !!! * * * * * * * * * * * Unfortunately we had the displeasure of having contracted this company to re-roof our home back at the end of 2014 (December). A week after the job was completed, by an unqualified crew of roofers, we had our new roof blow off in the wind. I didn't mention but we paid a premium for that roof to the tune of $9,000 (double what some other contractors charged in our area). We have lost portions of our 3 year old roof on 2 OTHER separate occasions since that time and "Professional Roofers" (should be called Unprofessional Roofers) are refusing to stand behind their workmanship, falling back on contract small print of a 2 year warranty. If you're looking for very unprofessional workmanship, inflated pricing, extremely poor customer service and you have an urge to deal with very rude people, Professional Roofers would be the people to hire. This has been a terrible, terrible experience from the word go and we highly recommend NOT dealing with these people. We are in the midst of filing a claim with the BBB and filing with the courts to recoup our costs of having our roof redone 3 years after paying these people for a new roof 3 years ago. Terrible, terrible experience all around so off to court we'll go read more

Horrible. My wife Leah and I need our roof done, in Brampton; needless to say, this will in no way be serviced through "Professional Roofers". We scheduled a free estimate last week.... we asked for an evening as we are both busy professionals. The gentleman asked for 5:30, we said we could not be home by then. We asked for 6 pm, which is still tight for us. He asked us to "meet him half way" as in 5:45. .... My wife, a VERY busy professional, agreed and found a way to leave work to be home in time. I work in Toronto, I was not able to accommodate. She got home and waited.... Well when they were already 20 minutes late she received a call to ask if 7:30 was ok as they were delayed.... thought you couldn't accommodate the later time originally??? Anyway whatever, we agreed. .... and THAT time proceeded to come and go....they called AGAIN, asked to come for I think another hour later. By 10 PM it was apparent the contractor had NO intention of showing up. They didn't call again until THE NEXT DAY, at which time we very obviously declined their services. Funny that a day later we received a "personalized" form letter from their president Roberto's office, asking if everything was to our expectation. And they misspelled my wife's name on top of it all. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY. PS D'angelo Brothers showed up EXACTLY ON TIME, written free quote, very professional gentleman. Not saying we've made our choice yet as we're still getting quotes, but if you CAN'T SHOW UP FOR AN ESTIMATE, how @#$*# reliable should we expect you to be to even COMPLETE a JOB? Come on. This is 2016, you should be EXTREMELY careful of how your company is portrayed in Social Media... which I will make sure to find every outlet to discuss your "Professional" roofing abilities. VERY sincerely , West Street / Brampton. read more
