I've injured by shoulder and my doctor recommended physical therapy while we wait for the MRI…read moreresults and seek for progressive treatments if needed. I decided to come to Kessler because of their proximity of the location near by my home and the flexible late hours and occasional every other Saturdays opening. During the course of my treatment here, I have been seen by Tova, Scott, Megan, Gabe and Gabby. All are very knowledgeable and friendly. They look that the patients chart to ensure there continuity of the workouts and stretches. I also like how there's some additional stretches and workout provided from time to time. I tried to follow the routines and committed myself to come here at least three times and week for the first month and then twice a week in the subsequent months as my pain gradually subsided and my shoulder's range of motion improved. Overall, I recommend Kessler!

His positive attitude has helped me in the healing process. I met Chandu and I was a bit frustrated and hurting badly. Chandu's words amazed me and I immediately started to feel comfortable. I would refer Chandu to anyone who needs the help. His way with people is unbelievable. Hopefully I will never have any other problems, but if I did, Chandu would be the one that I would go to. I've seen the best and worst of physical therapy centers. This is an average experience. This place…read moreis not a fraud, but also not consistent. They have many therapists so your experience will depend mainly on who you get. You may hit the jackpot, or bankrupt. A lot of equipment but a lot of it is for strengthening Rutgers athletes who are young and bounce back quickly. They seem best at strengthening, not so super at correcting specific problems. Maybe I had bad luck recently but I was rather disappointed with how my experience went. Overall a bit too "mass production" for me as a patient. I would say that if you feel your condition isn't improving, go ahead and make a change to another therapist or facility. You need to make yourself priority #1, #2, #3 and every number thereafter. I also note that while this place is, again, not outright fraudulent like some places, they charge a LOT. They tend to pad the bill with things like heat and ice and non-therapist supervised exercises in order to max the insurance payments. If you don't pay anything that's your business, but if you care about the principle or pay a portion of your bill, realize that the bill here is going to be quite a lot... like several TIMES what other places charge for equal or better treatment. I also agree with the reviewer who said you may have to deal with somewhat abrasive people at the front. Billing is also CHAOTIC. In that respect you are in the end dealing with a huge hospital business (Saint Peters) rather than a small physical therapy outfit.
