They took X-rays and found nothing so I was sent for an MRI which I had done On March 11, 2026. No one in the office was able to confirm whether or not an authorization was needed so my wife and I spent two days coordinating phone calls between the office, insurance company and Wantagh MRI to finally get this straightened out. This begins a world of frustration with this practice. I retuned for my follow up visit March 12, 2026, only to find that that was no concrete issue as to why I am experiencing the pain in my wrist so Dr. Lippe suggested a follow-up visit with the hand specialist and suggested that he call in an Rx for an anti-inflammatory to help me get some immediate relief. When I followed up with my CVS pharmacy Thursday afternoon I was told there was no Rx called in. After several phone calls with the office and being told that they would get back to, it is now Friday, March 13, at 1 PM and still no Rx or relief as I sit here in pain. My wife just called again and was told - "Yes we see the message and will get back to you" now 24 hours later. This was my first time at this practice and I would never return again not for a hand specialist or any doctor for that matter. I have been to many Doctors in my time and never experience such non- compassion or complete incompetence. I will make sure this is posted on every media channel can post it on as I sit here in pain with no relief after spend a week dealing with this incompetent practice. From what I read prior to my visit, Dr. Lippe specializes in hip and knee replacements, trauma, and osteoporosis care. Dr. Lippe was knowledgeable, thorough, and quite pleasant. I've had to leave several messages asking to be called back to reschedule and not once did I get a call back. I called today and was transferred to a manager where I had to leave a message again. That Dr. Shah personally reached out to me shows me she really cares . She is an excellent Dr. with a good bedside manner and deserves another chance. I'm now confident future experiences with her staff will be better . I would have given zero stars if possible, Dr. Shah is a fine Dr. but her office is rude, unprofessional and make her practice unworthy of my time. Recently I asked her office to help me fill out paperwork for FMLA, a chronic pain condition I have. Never have encountered such uncaring and unprofessional desk staff. I literally wasted 2 paid sick days and numerous phone calls which no one even bothered to return. I was simply attempting to ascertain if they can assist with filling this paper work out. I'm actually tempted to file an official complaint with the state, I'm floored that a staff could be this rude and incompetent, Dr. Shah you have a huge administrative / staff problem
