My wife and I went into this location to have a photo printed out. We got there as soon as the…read morestore opened and we waited to get assisted since there were a couple people ahead of us. We waited patiently to get help and there were two employees there at the printing station Carla and Ashton. It took about 30 minutes to get Ashton to help us and she looked as if she didn't want to help us at all. She had issues with the computer and asked Carla if she come assist her but she was busy with a customer. So after another 10 minutes Ashton was finally able to receive the photo we wanted printed out. There was an issue with the photo having white borders around it and we asked if she could remove them or expand it to fit a 16 x 20 print. She then told us that we would have to do it ourselves and when we asked how to do it she rudely told us that she didn't know. At this point my Wife and I was there for almost an hour for absolute trash service. While everyone else was getting helped while we were waiting, We were constantly getting skipped while people were coming in and out getting their questions answered. The employees need to be retrained on customer service because that was the worst experience I've ever had at this business. This was a huge disappointment because we were looking forward to having our photo printed out. If I could give this zero stars I would.

Nothing to complain about. They have all of the office supplies you could probably need as well -- computers, modems, desks, chairs and such. Get this. A pack of 500 sheets of printer paper can run you between $19-$22 depending on the thickness of the paper you need. Not Office Depot's fault. Things are more expensive expensive now but that seems a little steep. Should last me a while, though I just needed to print out a few things. Also, as I was wandering around looking for the paper, I passed by an employee and asked her if she worked there she said she would be with me in a second and walked on, but she did send someone else to find me and help me which was good customer service. The poor kid at the register didn't seem too happy to be there, but I get it. No judgment there!

Disappointed Returning Customer - Decline in Service and Professionalism…read more​I was referred to Home Furniture on Airline Hwy in Baton Rouge by a repeat customer back in 2023. After work one evening, I stopped by the store in my work attire to purchase new dining and living room sets. Kenn, the representative who helped me, was very professional and helpful. Within an hour, he completed my sale, secured delivery, and added a 5-year warranty. It was my first major furniture purchase, and I left extremely satisfied -- even recommending the store to others. ​In 2025, I returned to process a warranty claim for a damaged furniture piece, and this experience was completely different. When I walked in on my day off, Sonia greeted me kindly and began assisting right away. She mentioned that Kenn, now in management, would be with me after his meeting. This second visit took much longer than my first one, and when Kenn finally assisted, his behavior, body language, and communication made me feel as though I wasn't being heard. It was disappointing to see such a change in professionalism from someone who once provided great service. ​As Sonia and I finalized the replacement order, another employee, Harry, called across the store loudly saying I could pick up my furniture on a certain day and time. He yelled the information rather than walking over to inform us of a quicker way to get my furniture than delivery, which felt highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Sonia and I continued with the delivery option. Two days before delivery, I returned to ask if I could pick up the furniture instead. A young lady at the register started to help but called for Sonia, and Kenn stepped in, completed the paperwork, and told me I could pick it up the next day. ​This visit felt nothing like my first one. Ironically, the delivery personnel were more helpful and courteous than the store personnel and management I dealt with. The only noticeable difference was how I was dressed. I left feeling stereotyped and undervalued, which was disappointing after once being such a satisfied customer. I hope management reflects on this and ensures every customer receives the same level of respect and professionalism, no matter their appearance.
