I'm really not a particularly overtly religious person. I use the word prayer and pray a lot for lack of a better term. These cards said the recipient would be remembered in prayer for the next year. The Easter Cards were exceptionally beautiful. I received four and naturally I sent the most religious one to my Aunt and Uncle in the State of Georgia. They are very very religious Catholics. It took about two weeks to arrive. My Aunt sent me a photo of the card I sent her and a note of Thanks. She was happy I am supporting the Sacred Heart Southern Mission. If they send me more greeting cards I can use I will be happy to donate. I'm not into the sympathy cards. I keep getting those from many religious organizations. Enough is enough! I recommend you donate to your favorite charities. I like the happiness my greeting cards bring to my family and friends mailbox.

When you pay your management extremely high salaries, then take advantage of other employees, especially those with disabilities, you have gone to a whole other level of greed. Bringing cheap new things into the store only makes you look even more tacky. The government subsidies you receive, then turn around and price higher for used items, should be illegal if not morally wrong. I believe you are going to destroy yourself. Goodwill will become their own worst enemy. There are many more ways to buy second hand items. I recommend you wake up, and get back to your original priorities. At one time that was helping the community, not extorting money from your shoppers. I find it interesting that you only let the good reviews be seen, all the bad reviews you need the app. No worries, I have a lot of friends in the buy 2nd hand community, we will pass the word about Goodwill and their marketing tactics. i believe DOGE needs to review the numbers of all companies who take any kind of government subsidies.

The folks at ADS took great care of my mom everyday I was at work for about 15 years. They made it…read morepossible for me to keep mom at home rather than having to place her in a residential facility. The folks at ADS were kind, compassionate and respectful to my mother. They helped her to maintain social interactions and a level of activity that was appropriate to her evolving capability as she progressed along the Alzheimer's road. As I think back over the time my mom was at ADS, I cannot think of a time I had ANY concerns about mother's safety or well-being while she was in their care. The executive director runs a very tight ship and, this being a non-profit, she does it on a very tight budget. ADS is a remarkable find and I would heartily recommend that anyone seeking day care for their loved one give ADS careful consideration. One piece of advice to anyone seeking a day care or residential care provider, especially for a person with dementia: The most important thing is how the staff treat the participants. Look for a place where the staff show genuine concern and respect for the participants. All other considerations are a far distant second.
