We had the absolute pleasure of working with Joe Clemmer of Professional DJ Services for our wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse on 10/15/2025, and he was phenomenal from start to finish. Joe was incredibly communicative, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about making our ceremony perfect. Since the Courthouse doesn't allow public power use, Joe set up an entirely off-grid sound system that worked flawlessly. The lapel microphones blended beautifully with my tuxedo and my wife's elegant dress, you couldn't even see them in photos and every guest, even those seated in the very back rows, heard every word clearly. Joe's professionalism, expertise, and calm, confident energy made such a difference on our wedding day. We can't recommend him enough as he's truly the best in the business. read more

We hired Joe for our wedding and could not be more thrilled with his service. Every step from our first Zoom consultation to our last dance was treated with care and professional attention. Joe is an amazing DJ and a really friendly, talented person. Several of our guests mentioned how impressed they were with Joe's playlists. Joe was so great to work with and really took the time to get to know us as a couple, what we wanted from a wedding DJ, and how he could help us create an amazing experience. I am so glad I found Joe and that he was available! He really helped make our wedding spectacular. read more

DJ Joe is hands down a great person to work with. From the beginning, he has been transparent, professional, and personable. My husband and I felt so much more at ease once we spoke to him about our intimate wedding ceremony. He's a hard worker and we truly value his ethics and flexibility, especially during the events revolving around COVID. There is no doubt that he would do a great job at any event! read more

Finding the right DJ the most important aspect in my wedding planning process. The DJ controls the energy of the night and makes sure that all guests feel included and excited to be there. My husband and I worked with Joe, and it was the best decision we made. He is the kindest, most hard working, and professional person who truly made our day perfect. I lost count on the amount of compliments I received from my guests on how he treated them and how he ran the night. He made the entire planning process so simple and was so accommodating with all of my requests. Seriously- stop searching and book him asap! read more

Our company recently had an "after the holidays" party at the 805 Slow Brew Rock. My colleague recommended Joe Clemmer because he deejayed her wedding. Allow me to say, Joe was AMAZING! He could "read a room" and know, exactly what to play throughout the evening. Our staff had an incredible time and returned to work the following Monday, still talking about the night. Joe truly added to the success of the event with his lights, disco ball, and very engaging personality. If you are looking for someone, look no further! We will certainly contract with Joe Clemmer for ALL our future events!!!! read more

Joe was amazing. He MC'd and DJ'd our wedding and reception. He knew what to do and when which was so helpful since we did not have a wedding coordinator! He played great music and his dance floor lighting package was spectacular. We highly recommend him! read more

From start to finish Joe was the absolute best DJ we could've hired. When my husband and I first sat down with Joe to interview him for our wedding, we knew this was our guy. He's not only professional but he's full of advice, timely, friendly, communicative, and most of all, he knows what he's doing! I have zero complaints and would hire him in a heart beat for another event. You can't go wrong with hiring Professional DJ Services for your next event! read more

I knew from the very first phone call that Joe would be a great choice for our wedding. He was very professional and engaged in our wedding during the entire planning process and was truly invested in making our wedding the best it could be. He nailed it, the entire wedding was a hit and he kept guests on the dance floor ALL night. He even went way above and beyond to find the exact version of some instrumentals I wanted played during the ceremony with very little notice from me. Your search for a great DJ should end here, you wont find a better one or a better deal in Santa Barbara County. read more

We hired Joe as our DJ & MC for our wedding and he was great! We met up with Joe way before the wedding so we could go over his packages and figure out what kind of music we wanted for the big day. He took the time to get to know us and he explained everything into detail. My husband and I didn't know anything about which moments we needed to pick songs for. Joe provided all the help we needed in picking out the music and making sure that our wedding day included all the moments we wanted. His way of interacting with us came off really professional and he made us feel confident about the music arrangement for the wedding. If we ever had questions, we emailed Joe and we got a quick respons back. His huge music database made no request seem to crazy; he even played some Dutch songs since I am from the Netherlands. Joe was flexible by setting up two music tables (for no extra charge) so we could have music during the ceremony and the reception. Also he constantly touched base with us during the wedding day so that timeline and the order of events were correctly. Him touching base with us made the day go by smooth because everybody knew what was going to happen. Overall his way of working was very pleasant and easy. My husband and I never felt stressed or unsure about the music during the wedding day and that's why we would highly recommend Joe! read more

Joe was the DJ at our wedding and he helped us create the perfect event! He was a pleasure to work with and he assisted us with putting together our playlists. He was always willing to offer suggestions and was easy to get a hold of if we needed to ask any questions. We also used Joe's lighting services, including dance door lights, string lights and cluster tree lights. They were fantastic, offered great value and helped add to the special ambience of the venue. He also has great music knowledge across many different genres and he kept our guests having fun on the dance floor all night long. Thanks Joe! read more

This review is long overdue! My wife and I got married in September 2020 and our DJ canceled on us two weeks before our wedding date. Joe was available on our date, met with on zoom really quickly, and was set for September 5th at our venue during the height of COVID-19. My wife and I were not only grateful for his services, but we were blown away with how easy he makes the process and how good his talents at DJing were. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he was able to work around the crazy changes in schedule such as our change of venue etc. Joe is someone I would recommend to anyone in need of a DJ. Also, I believe we hold the record for the hottest wedding he has been at, but he did not complain once. Cheers to him and a big thank you for his services. read more

Well, I was a COVID bride so we obviously had to make some changes from what I had originally planned!. Joe was AMAZING at communicating during the turbulent times. He worked with us when we had to relocate to a venue further away from our original one. He was extremely professional and helped keep our wedding running smoothly. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned out and Joe played a huge part of it. I cannot recommend Joe highly enough!! Thank you Joe for making my day perfect. read more

DJ Joe was amazing! One week before our wedding, the lady who was supposed to coordinate the ceremony quit on us. DJ Joe not only did an awesome job with the music, but stepped up and essentially became our coordinator also! To top it all off, we had a sign in front of our head table that DJ Joe said needed to be eliminated more. So he threw up 2 extra spot lights for us at no charge! We had a hiccup with the flowers right before the ceremony, pushing the start time back by 10 minutes, but Joe had it covered with no problems! Then instead of a last dance, we did a send off song that Joe surprised us with. It was amazing! We had so many special people that stayed until the end and for them to be a part of send off as husband and wife was a perfect end to a perfect day! I will never use another DJ other than Joe!!! He has amazing ideas and knows the traditional ways too!! Truly a Professional DJ Service!!! read more

Joe was perfect. The anticipation of the big day was enough to worry about and Joe went above and beyond taking on coordinator duties and checking in with us. Joe Clemmer is a wonderful DJ! He is very professional, but also very laid back and accommodating. He was the DJ for my daughter's wedding, and did an amazing job making her feel special, making guests feel welcome, and coming up with creative, original ideas such as a bubble dance for the bride and groom. Some people said that the playlist was the best that they had ever heard at a wedding. To top it all off, Joe is very reasonable compared to other DJs in the area. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs a DJ for an event! read more
