I didn't go in to buy an indexed annuity which was obviously what was being offered. . I figured it the goal was to get you in for six months and then auto renew you at a lower rate. I was wrong, The goal is to get you to buy a fixed annuity. My rep even had the audacity to tell me they make the same commission from the CD as the annuity. Sureeee. Anyway, I smelled a rat and walked out. You know the old adage...
