I have nothing but good things to say about this business and my experience there. I have been taking courses there since 2015. I am currently a licensed real estate appraiser assistant. Yes, things have changed over the years with the owners changing but the instructors and classes have remained the same. Cindy has been nothing but helpful every time I call or email her with a question or issue. I had no problem finding out what courses I took there and was also able to get a copy of a certificate I needed to send into the state. There is a fee for obtaining the copy but that is normal business practice. A college isn't going to send you your transcripts or a copy of your diploma free of charge so why would anyone expect this to be different. The courses are offered in a sequential order and sadly if those courses don't have the required minimum number of students they can be cancelled. Bob was gracious enough to let me sit in on a class I had already taken as a refresher to me taking the State exam. I had been a repeat customer of this business for many years with both the past owner and the current owner. What a huge difference between the 2. The prior owner, Frank was well thought out and meticulous on the course offerings and overseeing the student enrollment. The new owner, Bob Smith appears to be adrift in a sea of dementia. I paid for a course that was supposed to take place in February 2018, and I was notified less than a week before the course was to take place that it was canceled. Ok, these things happen. I will re-schedule. However, I was not prepared for not being reimbursed for the course fee, and then lied to 4 times on the phone that "the check was in the mail" to reimburse me. Bob Smith appears to be nothing more than a crook, a cheat, and a dishonest businessman. I strongly advise not taking any courses at The Professional Career Center. read more

Do not take classes here. I took my initial 75 hour real estate class here in 2011. I recently have been looking to add a second license to a second broker. Part of the application requires course info and a signature from school coordinator. When I first went in to get this information from them, I was greeted by a very combative and unhelpful employee who informed me that they don't keep records as a company and that they wouldn't help me in any way. So, I called the state and took hours to track down the right person to get me my class information. So after I did their job for them, I went back in with the course info that I needed to get the school coordinator signature that I needed. They told me that they would not sign the form because they didn't have them in their records; and instead of offering any solutions they blamed ME for not keeping some loose leaf piece of paper certificate from 6 years ago. Long story short this place is a joke and not only are they not helpful to their clients, they are actively obstructive. Too many other options out there to give them your business. read more
