I decided to try the "Dipping" powder because it apparently last longer than gel polish. I was very unhappy. I asked how the entire process worked?? I even showed a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like.. Helen said ok.
For $50???? I should have gotten what I paid for. Not thick uneven nails. The owner was arguing with me!! I was only asking questions. If I'm spending that kind of money on my nails they should look perfect!!! They look like a kid did them. She kept saying "it the powder" it your nails" that it was what I wanted.
When clearly the picture of what I wanted does not look like my nails at all. I don't think she new how to do the French dipping. She kept on trying to get me to go with a solid color. I said "no" that's not what I want. When you see other people who have French manicures that have been dipped? I thought why not give it a try. Big mistake!!
To my understanding the customer is always right!! I went back today to talk to Helen who was yelling at me again about a service she did. Yes, she did a service that cost me $50!!! They look horrible!!
I told her I was not happy before I paid, and when I left!! This is embarrassing to have nails look this bad and spend $50!!!
You should not provide a service that your not apparently trained to do. For that much money I could have gotten tips!! These are my nails, and they look bad. I'm very upset. I have been to many salons....this was by far the worst experience. I attempted to go back today to talk with Helen who was screaming at me in the salon! She was asking all the people in the shop about my nails!! What they thought!! How happy they are with theirs??.
Excuse me? They didn't pay for my nails!! That was very disrespectful to me, and the other customers who don't even know me!!! I was mortified!!!
Again, that was very unprofessional for her to do that!! She said she wasn't going to fix my nails or give me a refund.
Therefore; I will report the salon to the Better Business Bureau.
I believe if your unhappy with something? You should express it. I did very politely yesterday and, the entire time she proceeded to argue with me, and embarrass me. I did nothing wrong. If you pay for a service you should be happy.
I'll have to pay to have them fixed at another salon in Frederick. This should never happen to anyone!! I never encountered anything in my life in a nail salon!!!
I think it's rude when they speak Vietnamese to their co-workers or when their on their cell phones!! That is also rude and unprofessional. I'm paying for a service, and for anyone who is spending their hard working money should be treated with 100% satisfaction guaranteed!! That's my time out of my day. I expect excellent service, and not to be argued with. I didn't do anything wrong. I could have painted them myself without the stress and to have to spend more time and money to get them fixed!!! read more
