I had received estimates from about 5 painters to paint the exterior of my house, and for one reason or another I was not completely happy with any of them. As a last resort I went onto Thumbtack to try my luck there, and among the responses that I got, ProEdge painters stood out from the rest. I sent them a few questions by email and they immediately responded, so I decided to give them a call and set up an appointment for them to come over and give me an estimate. JC from ProEdge came over the next morning and walked around my house to take a look. He was very knowledgeable and professional, answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I have areas over my screen enclosure that is difficult to clean and paint. Other painters told me they would have to remove the screen, but JC told me it would be no problem to leave the screens in place. He also had no problem using the specific brand of paint that I asked for. Our house is not easy to paint -- we have 21 windows, 6 set of sliders, and 9 doors including the large garage door. JC wrote up an estimate before leaving, explaining all of the options, at a very reasonable and fair price. I had a short discussion with my wife and almost immediately decided to hire him. Despite some permitting issues with the city that I live in, JC was able to begin painting the following week. He estimated it would take 3 days. The first day he and his crew power washed the entire house and did the patch work. He spent the next 2 days doing the actual painting but was not quite done at that point, so he spent most of the 4th day going around making sure that everything was perfect, cleaned up, and left the way that he found it. Even though I live in central Palm Beach county and JC works out of South Broward, he showed up close to 8AM every morning and worked all day. I have to say that I'm extremely satisfied with the work that ProEdge painters did. The house looks fantastic and I've received a lot of compliments from my neighbors. Fantastic: A+!!! We painted the inside of our house--about 5 rooms + 3 bathrooms--walls only, no trim or ceilings. I got 3 estimates, but chose ProEdge. Their reviews were excellent (including A+ from BBB), their representative (Demaris) was professional (on time, with a folder that included their insurance info., and on-the-spot written estimate), AND they had the lowest price. Their front office was a dream to work with. Their work team (4-6 men, depending on the day) was great. They came on the day & time promised. My husband & I stayed out of their way, and they finished in just less than 2 days. Nothing broken, not a spill. We paid an extra $299 for them to move and replace everything, but even with this, their price was the best. The walls were smooth with no marks whatsoever, and they looked beautiful. Thank you so much for giving me a "brand new" house! The work is magnificent! 2 days...they finished my house in 2 days!! From pressure cleaning, fixing all the cracks or lines on the wall, sealing the windows & doors and more, to painting the whole house (~2500 sq ft), the patio area, the garage door, and the trimming. The most important thing is they fixed the nasty sloppy job from my roofer who left me with very irregular cracky surface when he changed the flushing. Thank you! At first, my husband thought the color came out a little too dark. After the weekend trip when he drove back & passed the house, he then realized under the sunny sunshine of FL, this "new" house looks pretty good & actually it's his! I scheduled an appointment with several painting firms during a visit to my rental property between tenants. The rep from Milena was the most professional both in his appearance and demeanor. His estimate was also the most comprehensive and LOWEST I received. He was able to schedule his crew to paint the entire interior (except the ceilings) within a few days and completed all walls, trim and doors within three days.
