Good shop. Owner helps the community and is fair. Kills Goodwill. No clothes but I don't really like second hand clothing...

Many of the items I noticed were Knick knacks and dishes. This store I thought was bad years ago, now it's just a horrid smelly mess. The goal I believe is to encourage online shopping on their site, which is beyond overpriced.

Donating to Ukiah's Goodwill is a waste ... not only are you treated like shit for trying to…read moredonate, they now have begun to dig through the items and cherry pick right in front of those donating (as if I have the time to wait for the mean old battle axe to pick and choose what they will or won't take). I also had no idea the amount of clothing and bedding they literally throw away!!!! Goodwill's clothing is over priced, Walmart sells NEW ITEMS much cheaper. It's a hobby collector's shop ... not a means to offer affordable clothing to those whom may be on tough times. The homeless traffic State St that passes by Goodwill continuously throughout the day, I doubt would have any issue with taking the coats, bedding and whatnot that gets thrown out Also, during the numerous times I have Donated , I have not once taken a receipt for Tax purposes, I don't donate and never will for personal gain .:.. Nor should I hear anyone who is Donating including myself being treated like shit for trying to give to Goodwill I've Donated to Goodwill out of pure laziness, it's easier to give, than to throw a GarageSale and make a buck. But thanks to this last couple months and the treatment I've received and overseen towards those whom donate ... I'm done! Waste Management will pick up clothing as per their website during garbage pick up, that is my plan from here out. Yelp, I'm not even happy rating one star

Wanted to like this place really bad, the selection is cute. The prices were pretty good. I was…read moresold a pair of jeans that are originally about $270 online and I got them for $60. I was ecstatic! The woman working there told me that they are light jeans mostly designed for horseback riding and such. She pointed out that the jeans were tailored on the back pockets for more strength/stability. Sounded good, looked good, fit and felt good. BUT, First day of wearing them at my cashier job where i literally STAND all day, i noticed on my bathroom break there was already tearing near a belt loop with thin threading. (I could completely see my skin/underwear) I already had the worst thought in my mind as i looked through the crotch area of the jeans, and the threading was completely see through and worn out!! So completely embarrassing! I have only ever experienced this happening with a pair of jeggings i had and that was only after years of wearing them did they start to thin. I am genuinely surprised that these jeans were even for sale because they won't last a month and aren't salvageable at all. I called the store the next day and asked if they did returns/refunds or even partial credit, and i was just met with an instant "no" over the phone, didn't even ask me why or inquire more about it. I'm so sad because i feel like i got scammed and it kinda ruined my first visit to this place. I can't even wear the jeans i bought :(.
