From the top you get a full 360° view of Duluth, including the aerial lift bridge, which was super cool to see. The tower's only a few stories high and has rails to help with the climb, though it's not ADA accessible. Along the way, we also learned about Mr. Enger and his impact on the city, plus Duluth's special ties to Norway. Definitely a neat little stop! Not to mention there was a Japanese Zen garden and a few trails.

Things in Minnesota were just beginning to open up so there weren't crowds to deal with. It was nice to walk along Lake Superior on a warm and sunny day. Lots of different trails take you past lakes, rivers, and beautiful wooded areas. Looks like you can rent mountain bikes, skis, and snowshoes for an extra fee which offers a different vibe if you just don't want to hike. Large area for picnics, so bring a lunch with you and enjoy a relaxing walk in nature. Cheap and fun thing to do with family, a date, or just by yourself!

The only apology we have is recommending this place to others. But, by hopes, it will save it from further industrialization, because it's truly a remarkable spot of propriety. We appreciated the shade trees and very clean outhouses there. It was a little weird to call to get a permit and we were sad they didn't sell day passes as we're from MN. We ended up purchasing an out of state annual permit because by the time we drove there - we really wanted to see the falls. The $38 cost wasn't too high. Now we will likely visit another WI park this year. It was also nice to see fewer than expected people in this park on a Sunday. We drove home through a MN state park and it was packed - we were glad we had planned to go to Pattison. We also appreciated the interp signs and nice brochure at the ranger station - we read it all.

This was our first time driving into Duluth through Superior Wisconsin so we had to make a stop at Pattison State Park. Our favorite view of the Big Falls was from the parking area across the street from the park entrance ( you still need a park permit to park there). Short hike to the viewing area and they also have a selfie station to get a great picture in front of the falls. The colors were beautiful as we came in the fall time but I would love to come back in the spring to see the falls raging!

They're mostly all labeled as well. I enjoyed the helpful information regarding peonies. I would love to try to grow them. I walked the whole garden. Some workers were cleaning up the garden etc. A large part of the rose garden was destroyed - weather v disease? I can't remember. Nice views of the water. Trail for walking / running etc is nearby. Many benches to just sit and relax. It's a nice place. They have a public restroom and a small parking lot. There were some scooters that we rented to go to our next spot.

Park is lovely with falls around every corner. Easy hiking trails- very scenic and beautiful. Had the water not been such an icky brown I might have jumped in and if it were a tad warmer out. Plenty of rocks to jump around on and just a beautiful park for the family and our little pup who kept up.
