Rose garden

Beautiful place to walk around. The flowers and landscaping is so pretty. You can walk down by the river and train tracks. Great place to do a photo shoot or just sit and read. There was a wedding taking place down by the river when I was there.

This park is great. It is near the north end of the Duluth Lakewalk and the rose garden is very nice as well. This park is at a higher elevation and has good views of Lake Superior and there are trails branching off that go higher or lower, down to the shoreline. It is popular for pi ture taking for graduation, engagement or Wedding photos. It is not only beautiful when the roses are blooming but also in the fall, the colors are gorgeous. Be sure to check out the photos that I have taken over the years. Last year it snowed when the roses were bloomed and the leaves were in full color. It was fabulous. You can walk from here, all the way to Canal Park and the Aerial Lift Bridge. The park g is free but signs say limited to 3 hours. It is a great place to park, enjoy this park, walk down the Duluth Lakewalk to the Fitgers Complex to grab a drink, bite to eat or some ice cream. Enjoy the fun photos. Enjoy

This is a great park along the Lake Superior boardwalk. I enjoyed walking around and the spectacular view. At the time, the flowers were not yet in bloom, sadly, but there were plenty of Norwegian heritage pieces to view!

Great place to visit. Not too crowded either. Dog friendly. Lots to see. Large selection of flowers and a few statues here and there. Beautiful view of Lake Superior. Lake walk is a nice area to run, walk or cycle.

I Love Free Snifs! Today was the perfect day for a early morning walk through the Leif Erickson Park & Rose Garden, This is actually one of Duluth's most visible, popular and famous parks There are over 2.000 variety's of roses and other plants in the garden. The air was also filled with such an amazing aroma. They also have some lavender and other little flowers out that smell amazing too. It's such a delight if you are a tree huger like me! One of the focal points of the rose garden is a gazebo that overlooks the breath taking view of the harbor, This is the perfect place for an outdoor wedding during the summer. I always see photographers roaming around with cameras here. One of the other things that you will see at the park is a crazy whimsical stone stages with two towers on each end. This setting is the ideal location for large events. During the summer it is filled with people who are enjoying daily activity's such as walking their dog. tight rope walking, bicycling, catching Pokemon or just enjoying the spectacular view and the potent perfumed scent that fills the air. Some people even find it so peaceful there that they will also bring a blanket and take a nap in the middle of the day, It's always good to see so many people getting in touch with nature and enjoying the day.

Very scenic place to take photos of Lake Superior. I love waiting for a train to pass under the foot bridge. Lots of great family memories here at Leif Ericson Park. :)

The walk-in sites in general are all amazing, you're secluded from everyone else but still close to the amenities. Site 83 is about a 4-minute walk from where you park your car. There are two tent pads and plenty of space. It's a beautiful site--book it early! The amenities at the campground were great, with plenty of places to recycle, fill up water, and throw out trash. The bathrooms are also very nice, but they are some of the busiest bathrooms I've ever seen! There are plenty of hiking trails as well, a great visitor center and gift shop, and it is an all around lovely state park.

I'm not super experienced at camping, but the campsites felt quite close together to me. Compared to other places we've been, the sites are much less private. AMENITIES: 5/5 The amount of water spickets and bathrooms around the site were great, and the showers/main bathroom facilities were nice! STATE PARK: 5/5 We loved walking a bit of the state park over the weekend! The suspension bridge is super cool, and it's really fun to walk on and explore the unique rock formations along the water.
