I admit I was skeptical when he said he wouldn't have to remove the wheel from the car, and I'm glad I was wrong! The mobile service is really convenient. He showed up on time and took care to clean up before he left. I called a few other shops in the OC area and found his pricing to be competitive.

He counseled me on what do, which was tell the dealership "no" to $2,800 for stock wheels and spend less than half that for aftermarket rims. He felt the rim may be too damaged and suggested that new wheels might be safer. His knowledge is incredible. His personality is epic. 5 stars to a rad guy!!!

He was attentive to ask a lot of questions and then said he would get a quote for me the next morning. The next morning came I never got quote, and so I called the company itself. And can you believe when I called the company the person who answered the phone literally said they "have no idea what yelp is!!!" and I said "your business is on yelp and you don't know what yelp is!?" and he said "nope. better you come down here." it was so unbelievable that I drove my butt down there just to get the quote and the person in the front was so not friendly at all and had someone quote my car for a ridiculous price and i would leave my car there for four days on a simple scratch? I will never use this business based on just the business tactics from the beginning without the proper follow through as promised and all the way towards the end. I still don't know how he could say so adamantly and rudely on the phone "I don't know what yelp is" well, I don't know how you even got rated so many stars. I don't even want to put a one. But I'll do it because at least someone didn't reply me very fast when I put out the job request.

This is my own personal experience so don't let my review falter you from reaching out. I reached…read moreout for a dented rim repair as shown in my photos. The repair came out great and it took around two days. Tony came to my house and picked up the wheel. Unfortunately the paint correction did not match the rim and also my tire was leaking where the repair was made (it wasn't leaking even when the rim was dented). So I contacted Tony again to see what he can do. He said the paint came off the machine and that's what it analyzed it as and was willing to do it again so I said sure since the paint came out black instead of blue. He also offered to check on the tire and rebead the seal. So he picked up the wheel again, and this time it took almost two weeks to be done with the repair and this was only the tire portion. He advised that the paint correction would take another couple of days. Honestly just wanted the wheel back since I was out of a car for two weeks already and who knows how much longer it would take to get the wheel back. He came and dropped it off and installed the wheel and the tire is holding air for now, but he did recommend me to just get a new tire if it leaks again which I will do. This time though, when I got the wheel back, it had a new chip near the center which wasn't there before from the original pick up nor the first repair. As far as value and convenience of picking up and delivering goes, I'd say it's fair and beats the competitors. Otherwise, I wasn't too thrilled about the repair. Update: Bumped up one star since tire repairs aren't part of their job description and Tony went out of his way to do it. Leaving it 3 stars due to paint issues and poor communication where I have to ask for updates every couple of days.

Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

He and the owner were always friendly, helpful, and never made me feel pressured. That's why what happened during my most recent visit was so disappointing. I stopped by to have air put in my tires--nothing more. While checking them, the employee noticed a nail and told me he could patch it for $45 plus a tip. That immediately seemed excessive, as tire repairs are typically much less expensive. I politely declined and said I'd discuss it with my husband before making a decision. As I was leaving, he stopped me and told me I needed to give him a tip because he had put air in my tires. I was completely caught off guard. In all the years I've been coming here, I've never been charged for air, let alone asked for a tip afterward. I could understand paying for an actual repair or service, but putting air in tires is something many shops do as a courtesy. To avoid an argument, I gave him $5, but then he told me it wasn't enough and that he deserved more because of the labor involved. At that point, I told him to call his boss because the entire situation felt inappropriate and unprofessional. It's a shame because this used to be a business I trusted and recommended. If this is now how customers are treated, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I only hope that $5 was worth losing a loyal customer.

My car was rear ended earlier this year. I am here in Southern California on a travel nurse assignment and was not sure who to take my vehicle to. I decided on Procolor Collision Montclair based on good reviews on Yelp. The damage was to the trunk as well as the bumper of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. ProColor Collision Montclair did a great job repairing the damage. They worked with the insurance company of the individual who rear ended me to make the process easier. They had my car for around 15 days to do the repairs. There were a few parts that had to be ordered as well as deconstruction in order to paint the trunk. They kept me updated each step of the way. When I came to pick up my vehicle, they walked me out to the car to show me the results. I was thrilled! My jeep looked perfect and it was like the accident never happened. Not only did they fix the damage from the collision, they cleaned the inside and outside of the car as well. When I saw my car, it was spotless inside and out. Additionally, there were a few items in the car when I dropped it off, and everything was still in the vehicle to include my new $100 bumper step. I was referred to this place after an accident and the service I received here was incredible. The two things that really stand out about this place is their willingness to help and their attention to detail. I've never seen a shop be so mindful of their customer's expense. The people even took it upon themselves to take care of the small knicks and scratches on my BMW 335 not related to the incident I came to them for. I came to them in my time of need and they took care of me with utmost professionalism and care. And while it may be minor, what I remember the most from the experience was a plastic bag Brittney gave me to put the in the few things I got out from my crashed car. Carlos and his team were great to work with. Extremely clear from beginning to end with what would be required for the repair and what I needed to do. They made sure I was setup with any needed transportation and worked with my insurance for any additional repair costs. I came in thinking my door damage was minimal, but Carlos explained exactly what was damaged and what parts needed to be replaced. After going in to my required insurance estimate at another shop they confirmed Carlos' statement.
