So I asked Ryan to come by and assess our situation, after walking the house and seeing what he was up against, Ryan was all in!! Ryan was very confident that he could handle our two-story house with 40 windows (plus 2 additional windows on a detached car garage), 3 window pane doors, and make (2) two custom screen frames, plus the small repair on the back screen door. Ryan's price was fair considering other quotes we received which he was down the middle in pricing. Ryan was very professional and efficient. You can see that he had a system to the madness of cleaning windows. He also has this great screen cleaning tool that's like a car washing machine with brushes, I was impressed to say the least. We have numerous hard to reach windows and he has the appropriate tools to reach these window! After all the windows and screens cleaned, he installed the new custom made screens and repaired the screen door all in an afternoon. Now, he did have to take the (2) two screens home to make new custom frames which is expected. Then Ryan worked with us on our hectic schedules due to interior and exterior construction. We are grateful for his service and we will be calling him back for future work. Ryan is just a chill dude, he's not animated or talkative, he's cordial and respectful and he's all business. That's what we need these days. I don't need a salesman talking my ear off. I don't wanna hear about someone's personal life and blah blah blah! I just want to hear the sound of work being performed. On our mutually agreed-upon service date, both men arrived on time and quickly began working. Although we were concerned about the stucco wall undergoing high pressure cleaning, David assured us that softer pressure would be used and the wall wouldn't be damaged. When the job was finished we were so impressed with the results. Our pergola and stucco wall looked like new, windows were sparkling, and the slumpstore was free of algae and dirty stains. The initial experience was good, as they responded quickly and gave me a bid to repair the floor upstairs in my townhome that has water damage. The quoted me a price and told me that the job would take 3-5 days. This is the text thread from David: Once you pay the deposit and purchase the materials, we'll contact you to schedule the installation. If everything is done by tomorrow, we can dispatch our team as early as the end of next week or the beginning of the week of July 21. The project itself will take about 3-5 days to finish, unless we need to do surface leveling (which requires drying time and is a separate charge, as noted in the disclaimer) I needed to buy the material on line from Floor and Decor, and then I got this text. Yes, our guys will pick up the materials from the F&D on the day of installation, will try to make it 7/21st. I arrived 10 days later. No one was working, my stairs were half covered with trash bags. Tuesday I get a call from a person named Rick. Hard to believe the experience could get worse, but it did. He told me he is the ex GM, an he is working with the owner to help with customer service. He then proceeded to tell me that the current GM is terrible, but there is nothing he can do about it because he is the owner's twin brother. He told me that there are many unhappy customer. He then had me confused with another customer and said I had asked for a $265 discount. I never had any such a discussion. I told him I was forced to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. He then got angry and that is not their problem and I should have gone back to stay at my main house (2 hours away). He was rude and arrogant. I arrived at my place on Thursday and all the trash from the job was in my front yard. I got a call from Rick this morning demanding payment. I am only spending this much time with this much detail to deter other people from using this company. I will be letting Floor and Decor know that they should not recommend CA Floors. I have done complete remodels of 4 homes, and this is the worst experience by a long shot.
