Went to another shop for an inspection which I failed. Took my car to Pro Vision and not only did he say that he could pass it as is, but explained to me recommended services rather than trying to charge for more work than was needed. Also had my 2nd vehicle inspected from him. Quick and easy, was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Very informative and has good communication with his customers. Listened in on him telling another customer why he failed an inspection in detail and even gave him information if he wanted to buy the part somewhere else. Would definitely go to again for any auto repair needs. read more

Unfortunately we all live in a society where automobile mechanics are seldom honest and often do more work than is necessary. This is not the case with Jay and company over at Pro Vision in Hudson NH! Jay is not only honest, highly skilled but he is a real good guy as well. Jay takes the time to discuss the repairs and options and NEVER does more work than is required to fix the car. Now I'd like to take a few moments to talk about what great service and high skill I have come to expect from Pro Vision. Some years back I had a 99 Camry that needed a timing belt due. My mechnic I used at that time ( a very trusted and highly skilled mechanic by the way ) was unable to replace a spaghetti like gasket due to mechanical limitations. He simply left the gasket in their. Well wouldn't you know that 3 or so years later that spaghetti gasket blew and ruined the timing belt, creating a need for a major repair. read more

Great service....Brought in my prelude to fix a leaking gas line. They called me and advised me that it would probably need a gas tank too seeing as the old one was severely rusted... Gave me great pricing on that and all the return lines and tank straps and even threw in a free rust undercoating for the rear subframe of my car. Honest guys and quality work. Haven't had any issue since it was replaced. I would refer them to anyone I know and already have.... Thanks Eric! I'll see you guys for my future repairs! read more

Dishonest... Been bringing my vehicles to these guys for years. I Leased a new vehicle in November and had it inspected. I brought the vehicle back in April to have it reinspected. I did not know that because I bought it so close to renewal that no second inspection was required. They scraped off my current inspection sticker and slapped a new one on the vehicle charged me for it and sent me on my way. I saw the sticker didn't change color and looked through my paperwork and found that nothing was required to be done. I called and questioned them. I was told "I will look into it and call you back." No call back and pretended to not know what I was talking about when I called a week later. An honest competent shop would have noticed before removing a blue 2015 sticker that it was good for the rest of the year. It makes me wonder what other unnecessary work has been done over the years. read more

i had an issue with my car and it was undriveable and i need my car for work so i needed it fixed asap i read some good reviews for pro-vision so i thought it would be a good place. i brought my car in to have it checked because i dont know about cars so i wasn't really sure so they drove and checked it and let me know what was the problem and already being there and halving called other garages in the area that couldn't get to me today i felt like i didnt have an option so i agreed to let them work on my car and asked how much it was going to cost when the guy told me it was going to cost over $500 for just one bearing i knew i was definitely being taken advantage of because i was a female and by myself and didnt know about cars but having no other choice i couldnt go any longer without a car i had to have it fixed there. so the stigma is true and shows why in 2023 you cant go in a auto garage by yourself as a single female to get your car fixed without doing your research you will get ripped off! read more

My Husband and I had been going to Pro-vision Automotive in Hudson, NH for years.  We have 3 vehicles that we brought in for all their maintenance and repairs. We had 2 of the vehicles inspected by Pro-vision and they failed them both for brake lines.  Then gave us an estimate of how much it would cost to fix them.  Something felt very wrong about this because we always keep our vehicles in great condition....  We took our 3rd vehicle to a different shop because we weren't going bring it to Pro-vision and take the chance that they may fail that one too for same reason!?  It passed at the other shop.  We asked the new shop if they would look at the other vehicles that failed, which they did.  Guess what?!  He said he would have never failed them but, we didn't know how reliable this person' judgement was so, after talking with friends about who they bring their cars to, I got a few great reviews about a 3rd shop.... I made an appt. with them to have the brake lines fixed on both cars.... We brought in the first car and they said they wouldn't have failed it either.  It could wait and be watched to see if it needed to be fixed but, we wanted to be certain we were driving a safe vehicle so, we had them fix the lines on that car....  Thinking better safe than sorry!  When we brought in the 2nd car that Pro-vision failed and heard for the second time that the car shouldn't have failed and truly didn't need any work, we knew we were being lied to by Pro-vision!  Our new shop passed the car without any change!  I had called Pro-vision in the meantime to cancel our appts. to have both vehicles "fixed".  Jay actually looked up our vehicle info, saw where we went, and called to argue the point with the new shop.  The new shop absolutely wouldn't have risked their livelihood by passing a car that has failed on safety by another shop.  This time we didn't have anything fixed because we now were certain that Pro-vision had been trying to get us to have unnecessary repairs done!  We don't regret having the first vehicles break lines repaired with our new shop (not to mention it was less than what Pro-vision quoted us)....  They may have needed it within a year or so.  We didn't want to believe that Pro-vision was doing this to us after so many years and thousands of dollars spent on maintenance and repairs, which who knows if they were actually needed! After 2 separate shops said the same thing, that they shouldn't have failed, we're done with Pro-vision forever!  I only wish we would have realized sooner that they were doing this.  I went on their Facebook reviews and saw that another person had pretty much the identical experience with Pro-vision as we did at around the same time.  Jay has since called our home and left a message for us to call him back, which we won't..... We've wasted too much time and money on him and his garage already. I never write reviews but, I'm writing this in hopes of saving others the horrible experiences that my Husband and I have gone through with Pro-vision.  We've learned our lessons.... As the old saying goes, "first time shame on you, second time shame on me".  Hope this helps others make an educated choice of where to (or not to) bring your vehicles.  We will be posting this to all social media review sites!  We would give Pro-vision a zero on the review scale if that were an option. We've edited to add that when we wanted to write a review on their website, we found that there is no actual way to do so.... Under the REVIEWS section of their website is a REVIEW THEY WROTE ABOUT THEMSELVES that states, "We offer honest and reliable auto repair, and we like to think we do it right. But, don't just take our word for it--our customers give us rave reviews! Whether it's our quick, quality, friendly service or the honesty and value we bring to every interaction, our customers love us.". We found it ironic and completely unprofessional that they write this yet, do not give their customers a chance to give an actual review on their website! read more

After researching for a reputable shop in Southern NH on yelp, due to damage done at another not so reputable tire shop, my son recommended me to take my car to Pro-vision Auto, I did not know there were any auto businesses that weren't in the expensive repair business especially for seniors! REASONABLE PRICED is a complete and total understatement in regards to THE TOTAL COST of the competent repair, ADDITIONALLY with my mentioning of finding on YELP I was given the 10% discount (without my knowing about the coupon) or asking about any discounts! The guys explained ALL the problems to my son, while the car was on the lift, who is knowledgeable about mechanical things, and able to explain to me what I didn't get from Jay's explanation (I'm very hard of hearing). Bottom line is the Customer Service, Price, Honesty, & Integrity, of Jay, his employees, & business ethics are beyond reproach. The best part is the awesome dog!! (Just kidding Jay). My son and I will bring our cars here from now on, and recommend to anyone who asks, and possibly not, of how GREAT our first experience was at Pro-Vision Auto, a completely appropriate name for this business, professional with the vision of having you as their car service and repair provider for the rest of your life. I'd been bringing my 2001 Elantra to Pro-VIsion for a few years now trying to get as much remaining life out of it as possible. Everytime I brought it in I always got their honest opinion on what needed to be fixed or done to keep it running. The first couple of times I was amazed when it would pass inspection (they could've told me otherwise). As it obviously got older they always seemed to help me fix things in the least expensive way possible or would tell me what I would need in the up coming months, not necessarily right at that moment. When I needed all new tires the girl in reception told me where to get them cheaper, they would replace small things at no charge and even fixed some bad rust in order for it to pass inspection, so I wouldn't have to take it to a bodyshop. I remember one of the first times I went there was after a dealership told me I needed to replace my timing belt. Jay looked at it and told me the writing on it hadn't even worn off yet. I never had to bring it back twice for any of the work they'd done and never felt they were being dishonest. Being a girl with a crappy old car and zero knowledge of mechanics, that is saying a lot. ( I'd spent years jumping from place to place not trusting anyone.) I would definitely recommend them to anyone and actually already have, my mother now goes there, my sister and my friend just brought her car in for an inspection last month. It's nice to know there's someone who's "not out to get" your money, that you don't have in the first place. The best part, when I traded my car in for something newer, Jay checked out the car for me at no charge AND told me I could put the old/ancient one in front of his shop with a for sale sign on it. By the end of the week it sold for $750 and had just narrowly escaped being dropped it off at the junkyard! I'm so glad I finally have a place to go that doesn't feel like a scam.
