So I dropped my car off to have the work done. I was told it would be ready for lunch time. At 2:00pm, I still hadn't gotten a phone call so I called them. I was informed that they didn't know how long it would be because the guys working on it were all out for lunch. They called me a bit later to let me know my car was almost ready and that it would be more expensive than I was originally told. They replaced another part without my authorization! I'm a girl, I'm not stupid! Once I informed them that they are not able, by law, to do unauthorized work on my vehicle, they took the charge off of my bill and discounted the final price. I appreciate that they discounted the final cost for me but they shouldn't have tried to rip me off in the first place! I do not recommend this place.

One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge. I really enjoyed the experiance with Platinum Fine Cars and I would reccomend them to anyone wanting a hassle free experiance.

I go to Napa and the gentleman instantly knows what I am talking about and there is a plethora of rivets available. Think an ocean of rivets. The right one appears before my very eyes. Price, $3. If you know what you are looking for I would check here and compare prices, availability, etc. The shop isn't overly big, but if they have selections for things such as rivets they probably can find you something.
