They missed the wheel wells, didn't clean the dirt out of my tires, left dirt in all the trims and compartments, damaged my defrost lines on my rear window, left dirt stains on seats, headliner wasn't even looked at, never removed steering wheel cover to properly clean steering wheel. When I received a message to pick up my vehicle they hadn't even done the ozone machine like they were supposed to and I had to wait an additional half day to pick up my vehicle for them to do something they were supposed to do over night. When pointing out all the issues, Andy had the guys go over it 2 more times causing me to wait even longer and the issues were still missed! They sent my wife out in it with the gas tank held on with only one strap. The missing strap couldn't be added even if we located one as the mounting holes were so rusted they didn't exist. Also the back brakes wouldn't pass inspection. When calling to resolve the illegal sale with a fraudulent safety inspection they were unwilling to make it right. They as much as admitted the wrong by trying to negotiate paying half what it was going to cost me to fix the things that wouldn't pass a valid safety inspection. We are now filing with the state to prevent them from future dishonest sales. Be warned!

My experience with Foster Transmission and Repair was very unsatisfactory. Two years and 15,000…read moremiles ago Foster Transmission & Repair rebuilt the transmission on my truck. I approached Richard Foster about an issue with my ability to shift gears smoothly as I had been able to do immediately after he did the repair work. I drove in from St. Louis (95 miles) to discuss the issue and the first thing he did was point to the 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty clause on his invoice and informed me that I was outside the warranty and he wouldn't cover the cost of any repairs. I argued that my first transmission lasted over 203,000 miles and I was already having issues after only 15,000 miles since he worked on my transmission. Richard than stated that the problem must be the clutch master cylinder (a $65 part) but he refused to do any testing or problem solving. When I suggested that I would take the matter to court he became very irate and told me that I did not matter to him and to leave the premises. His wife then called the police. Maybe he thought since I lived in St. Louis he could get away with his unprofessionalism, but he clearly doesn't stand behind his work.
