I've called twice to get service and they haven't even bothered answering. I won't be calling a third time.

This is definitely not the place to receive friendly service. I was there a couple of weeks ago…read moreto get my tires rotated (which i purchased there). The man at the reception desk was a total jerk, not at all friendly. Seemed very put out to have to even speak. My tires had a lot of life left on the tred less than 10,000 miles on that set, but they kept shaking my car horribly even after the rotation and supposed rebalancing. I should have went back to have them stand by honor the warranty on those tires. But, I didn't want to step another foot inside that place and be met with rudeness again. I sucked it up and went to Brockes and bought another new set of tires! My car runs very smoothly now. Never again!!! I did business here for 25 yrs. It's absolutely ridiculous how the current management has defamed a once outstanding business. Brocke Tires now has my business they are located in California, Mo. A family friendly business. The way Lewis Tire use to be. Only takes one bad experience to run off a good customer.

I ordered a set of 4 brand new General Altimax RT43 from them a while back. They asked me if I…read morewanted to get my car aligned and I would because I want to have my new tires wear evenly. 30k miles later and they are wearing out very unevenly. The outer is wearing out much faster than the inner. These tires should last over 60k. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR ALIGNED THERE. I will not do business with them ever again. Edit: I got a 2nd opinion from another alignment shop in town and the alignment on my car appeared to be correct. I'm not sure what caused the uneven wear, especially on the outside of the tires. I've updated my review to 4 stars and will continue get my vehicles serviced there.

    Plaza Tire Service

Regarding MO Blvd Plaza Tire…read more I absolutely use to use and think highly of Plaza tire until they absolutely and incompetently wronged me. I made and appointment and left my sons car there for a week. I wanted it aligned, inspected and the rear-end checked along with anything else that could be potentially unsafe. After they replaced the rac and pinion, u joint on the drive shaft, rear diff service and aligned it and after speaking on the phone and one of the workers saying that nothing else showed up on the "inspection" I retrieved my sons car. No more than 30 miles down the road the next day, I lose control and almost wreck going around 50 mph. It seems the control arm on the driver side was wore out. I have no clue why this was missed, but it should have been caught at least 3 times, first alignment, second alignment after the rack and pinion and the inspection. After arguing fault and calling highway patrol it seems they neglected to do an inspection. Their negligence saved their license I suppose. After arguing some more with what I assume was the manager he stated, "no, I told you the inspector would look it over like an inspection, but you have to make an appointment for an inspection"....... or something very close to those words. Their incompetence caused damage to the front quarter panel, the rim, the bumper, the tire and bent something else that I'm not sure the name is. I accepted everything they said it needed before it left and they are putting all fault at me. This could have been bad, for myself or my son. I will not rest until I tell everyone I know about this. My next step is filing a complaint with the Better Business Bearue. Update: I emailed the "owner" and received an automated message that they would get in touch with me with 24 to 48 hours. After 72 hours I emailed again and still have not heard a peep for 48 hours.

This place wasn't awful, but they really didn't put in any extra effort. The guy who was at the…read morefront desk was also running back and forth to the garage area, which, from the heavy sighs, I'd say he wasn't enjoying. The service was prompt and my car wasn't any dirtier than when I parked it, so they got the job done. I just wouldn't say they went out of their way for anything. They didn't even write what mileage/date I should come back, only the starting mileage, on the sticker in my window. I had a coupon for a cheap oil change, so I probably won't go back. The more you know.

No one was available for inspection, so we agreed to complete only the other services. The person working on the vehicle told me I would need new brake pads to pass inspection, which I agreed to. After the work was completed, I left the shop, but the brakes felt off. I had to press the pedal all the way down to bring the vehicle to a stop. I returned told about the issue, an was asked to come back on Monday to have it checked. I set an appointment for 8:00 a.m. When I arrived at 8:00 a.m., I was told the person doing inspections would not be there until 9:00 a.m. I waited, and it took another hour before they started working on my vehicle. After some time, they told me there was a serious issue with my brakes and that the brake caliper was jammed. I was quoted a little over $400 for the repair. The brakes were working fine before the brake pad replacement, and the issue only started after the pads were changed. When I asked if something may have happened during the pad replacement, the response I received was, "I was not there; I do not know." I did not bring my vehicle to an individual--I brought it to a professional business, and I expected accountability. While they did remove the labor charge for the caliper replacement, I still ended up paying almost $350 for other items, which I strongly believe resulted from improper brake pad installation, as the braking issue began immediately after that service. Be very cautious if you are considering taking your vehicle here. They will find ways to charge you more, and responsibility and accountability appear to be missing from their company policy.
