We just purchased a Chevy Tahoe from Summit Auto Service in Holt;s Summit, MO only to find that the…read moresafety inspection done there was bogus. They sent my wife out in it with the gas tank held on with only one strap. The missing strap couldn't be added even if we located one as the mounting holes were so rusted they didn't exist. Also the back brakes wouldn't pass inspection. When calling to resolve the illegal sale with a fraudulent safety inspection they were unwilling to make it right. They as much as admitted the wrong by trying to negotiate paying half what it was going to cost me to fix the things that wouldn't pass a valid safety inspection. We are now filing with the state to prevent them from future dishonest sales. Be warned!

We travelled 2 hours from St Louis to Jeff City to purchase a pre-owned 2025 Grand Highlander-Hybrid. Ben McGrail was very responsive and fulfilled our request getting to the bottom line on the terms of our trade in, purchase price, all the numbers that matter. Once we test drove the vehicle, we got all the financial paperwork completed efficiently with Matt Wilde. Clearly explained everything and answered all our questions. They gifted our 11-year son with some KC Chiefs Memorabilia with his response saying it all, "best day of my life." Considering our family was just in Florida for Disney World and he went surfing for the first time last week, I'd say that's pretty powerful for a car dealership to give a kid that kind of memories! It's hard for anyone retail or services to get above a 4.5 out of 5 star rating. Rusty Drewing has an unbelievable 4.9 online rating! Our family understands why now after our amazing purchase experience. You just have to go there to experience it for yourself! Despite being 2 hours from home, Rusty Drewing will be our first choice for any future vehicle purchases!

The spare tire damaged the lug nuts so I had to get all ones. I was unable to pick up my own truck and had my brother pick it up Tuesday. They did not give me back my spare tire, threw away my good 3 tires, kept my lug nut socket, failed to put my center caps back on, and kept all my original lug nuts. To top it off they forgot to balance one of my back tires. I took it back and they were able to give me back my spare tire but everything else was "gone." They admitted to throwing away the note without even reading it. I used to take everything to them but now I will never go back! VERY DISAPPOINTED

I approached Richard Foster about an issue with my ability to shift gears smoothly as I had been able to do immediately after he did the repair work. I drove in from St. Louis (95 miles) to discuss the issue and the first thing he did was point to the 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty clause on his invoice and informed me that I was outside the warranty and he wouldn't cover the cost of any repairs. I argued that my first transmission lasted over 203,000 miles and I was already having issues after only 15,000 miles since he worked on my transmission. Richard than stated that the problem must be the clutch master cylinder (a $65 part) but he refused to do any testing or problem solving. When I suggested that I would take the matter to court he became very irate and told me that I did not matter to him and to leave the premises. His wife then called the police. Maybe he thought since I lived in St. Louis he could get away with his unprofessionalism, but he clearly doesn't stand behind his work.
