I've used Pro-Tection Seattle now multiple times and got excellent results with every visit. Ron and Linda are extremely responsive and very knowledgeable about their products. I've gotten everything from frosted film, 3M security film, to Nightvision tinting all with longevity and great results. The tinting I got when I first bought my house in 2017 still looks new and fresh. Highly recommend Pro-Tection Seattle, especially on windows where you want privacy but don't want drapes or blinds. read more

Good service, reliable communication. Serious and just what we needed when tinting our entire house

Very responsive and great work. They had to scramble a bit to get my work done because of the timing, and their employee's wife had a baby. They got the people there, got it done, on time, and professionally. I really appreciate the responsiveness and flexibility and highly recommend them. read more

First, I had them install anti-UV film on my office windows (16 foot ceilings) which face south and west. The glare had been horrible. Now no glare, and a significant reduction in summer heat. So we just had them cover the south facing windows at home, which was complicated in a 1920's house with windows having many small panes. The work was flawless. The installer was on time, pleasant, and when he left, there was no mess left. The office staff was also terrific - helpful and knowledgable, and also pleasant. read more

The Pro-Tection people are highly skilled at installing film on windows. When I first looked at my windows I couldn't believe they actually had film over them. The only tell-tale sign is the slightly different color, compared to the windows without film. Yet, I find the film-covered windows more appealing. Especially, my skylight which now allows a nice light, without harsh glare. Having Pro-Tection install window film on my windows is one of the best things I've done for my home. The film keeps my home warmer on cold days and cooler on hot days. Plus, it protects my carpet and furniture from the damaging rays of the sun. I was also concerned about sitting at my desk, which faces a window, so the film also protects my skin from damage. I intend to welcome Pro-Tection back to my home soon to have the rest of my windows covered. read more

Quick response, on time and protected my carpets and furniture from East and South facing, floor to ceiling windows. Perfect view through the windows but less heat and no worries about fading carpets and furniture. The install took only a few hours and they wore masks the whole time. read more

I would highly recommend Pro-Tection! Their customer service, knowledge and professional install is superb! I had Pro-Tection install window film on several of our commercial properties. We experienced break-ins; and the film helps in that the windows will not just break easily with the film, but takes a lot of effort to gain access. We also had a south facing window in a restaurant installed, to help keep the bright sun from heating that area making it more comfortable for customers. I have worked with other companies....Pro-Tection is the best! read more

Ron came in for a consultation this morning. Instead of trying to hard sell me the film, he gave me a full disclosure of the pros and cons of film and suggested that it might not be the best option for me right now, based on my needs and the condition of my windows. I really appreciate his honesty. He will be the first person I call when I need window films in the future! Thank you, Ron! read more

Very professional organization. The estimator took the time to explain all of our options for security film, and didn't pressure us for a larger sale. The installer was also very professional and did a great job installing the window film. Highly recommend this company. read more

We had to replace a large front window at our Cat Adoption Center that had been broken by someone throwing a rock and Pro-Tection Seattle installed the graffiti shield. They did a fantastic job on the installation and we couldn't be more pleased. They had actually handled the previous installation as well and the original shield provided extra tension preventing the window from shattering. When you look at the window, you don't see the shield and yet it is providing that extra protection. Lots of love from the cat folks at PAWS Cat City!! read more

I highly recommend Pro-Tection Seattle for anyone looking to get their home windows tinted. We started off with getting the entire downstairs done first. Loved it so much, we had them do the entire upstairs as well. The tinting provides extra privacy, blocks fading sun rays, repels heat, and reduces the sun glare by a ton. They are extremely professional at what they do. So refreshing to find these days. Thanks Ron and your awesome and very polite installers! read more

I have had this company put film for sun protection both in my home and my office. All of the representatives of the company had been outstanding, and they stand behind their work, even years later. Very impressed. James. read more

Pro-Tection Seattle installed film on all of our west and south facing very large windows in 2008. Our primary goal was to prevent furniture and floor fading as much as possible, and the film has performed amazingly well. We almost never close our blinds, even during the hot summers, and the only fading I have noticed after ten years is on a couple of bedroom throw pillows. We recently did some remodeling in our basement, and decided to add film to those windows as well. I highly recommend this company, their superior product, and their friendly and punctual employees. read more

I was very impressed by Ron and his crew's professionalism and work ethic. Ron was very clear in explaining the various options we had for their installation of security film and wet glaze on our company's windows. Both crews were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. read more

Had our skylights and some windows done with 3M Prestige and it looks great so far. We did some price shopping and while it definitely wasn't cheap they came in cheaper than other local quotes that I received. read more

Over the last 5 years I've had a series of solar roller shades installed by Pro-Tection. A couple of months ago I was painting and had trouble getting a couple of the shades down. Ron came out within 2 days and showed me how to remove them. Then last week I broke a chain on one of the roller shades (after 5 years of almost daily use). I called to see what my options were. Ron was out the next day, picked up the shade, had it repaired and reinstalled in less than a week, all at no extra charge. The shades are great quality, reduce glare/fading are look as good as the day they were installed. The price was more than fair for the quality and service. What is most valuable is the follow-up when an issue arises. They are timely, friendly and willing to make it right! I would defiantly use them again! read more

Very pleased with our solar shades as well as ongoing service needs over the years (even after the warranty expired). Ron is very responsive and professional. I highly recommend this company. read more

I had my sunroom in the house we bought here in Kenmore done by Protection about a year ago approx. In all honestly to all other home owners I would do more research before using this company. I had just had surgery on both shoulders and back surgery in the previous year before retiring or I would have done it myself. It was severely overpriced "Buyer beware" but I had to have it done. I asked them to leave me a piece 3 1/2' X 5 1/2' when they were leaving and they wouldn't without charging me $342.00 for the small piece and insisted they had to install it in the small window I was thinking of trying it in. This was after I just paid them $2000.00 plus tax for about three hours work.I'm sure the two fellows that did the windows were just following instructions. All other work I have had done over the years roofing, materials and excess from any work all contractors I have dealt with were more than happy to leave leftovers with me. When I checked the prices for what I asked them to leave it really upset me to put it mildly. Check it out. After that when they were leaving one of the workmen made a comment about the new car in my driveway like "You have money" well it was my brothers who was asleep downstairs. I highly recommend if you are getting windows done in your home for sun protection you do some serious research. For what they did and the time it took them it was severely overpriced. It was my fault being in a rush before the summer heat. The material doesn't even keep that much heat out. I don't recommend. read more
