    Update: Note that the correct address for B&H Appliance is 1592 SE South Niemeyer Cir, Port St…read more Lucie, FL 34952 I bought a condo on Hutchinson Island and found that the dryer was heating and tumbling but not blowing air out through the vent - aka not working. I called around, and Brian (the owner) at B & H said he had several dryers that were nearly new. I drove over and parked outside the fence. Don't be fooled, B & H is in business and open, they keep appliances on their way in or out in the parking area. Make your way through to the building and you will meet down-to-earth, honest, and really helpful people. Brian showed me a very reasonably priced dryer, plugged it in so I could see it working, and he made sure I had the correct plug on it to fit my receptacle. The delivery guy (I feel bad I can't remember his name) was able to deliver it right then and get it installed. The 220 Electrical receptacle was mounted high on the wall; therefore, the normal plug did not work. Never fear; he had a long one on the truck and switched it out on the spot. He not only made sure the dryer was leveled, but he also did the same for my washer (that was in the condo when I bought it) and took the old dryer out. I think it was about two hours from my initial call to drying a load of laundry - A RECORD! I gave the installer what I thought was a generous tip and I guess it was since he refused to take it and put it back in my hand. Who does that anymore??? I finally won by insisting he earned it and pressing it back in his hand. This was an all-around 5+ star experience and service. Since B & H does appliance repair as well, I will certainly call them if I have a need with any other appliance. A very happy customer, John J.

    Called to replace an existing over stove microwave as we are updating our appliance set. Upon…read morearrival, the tech quickly removed the old microwave without doing a single measurement or even looking at the new one, still packed away in the garage. After removing the old unit, he asked why I was replacing to which I pointed at the new fridge of a different brand/color and said it works fine as we are just updating all appliances to match the new fridge. Then I pointed to the new gas range sitting next to its old counterpart that is scheduled next to be installed. Now, he goes out to the garage and is moving fast to finish the job quickly. So fast he takes everything out and now does his first measurement. Houston, we have a problem. He stated the cabinet is too low and he starts explaining what needs to be done. He shows me the tape measure from the outside of the kitchen cabinet where the microwave is explaining how it's too low. I keep asking him if he can help and he kept going on and on. Finally I stopped him and demanded a straight answer to which he said no he couldn't install it. Then, he started cleaning up and began to walk out of my house with my old microwave. I stopped him halfway out the door and demanded he put it back so I have a working microwave tonight. He replied saying it was a dead unit. Say what? So he did reinstall my old microwave and now I'm out $75 because he demanded money to reinstall or he was leaving it right there in the middle of kitchen floor. I don't appreciate being blackmailed into paying $75 to reinstall a microwave he should not have removed in the first place. I would have gladly paid $75 as a service call, but his failure to measure anything and demand for money to fix his oversight was a grave mistake. He called me back after this review was initially posted offering more excuses and calling it a diagnostic fee. If that were the case, it would have been $70 as the upfront email stated. He then offered a partial or full refund if I agreed to retract this review. I told him to keep his money. Their policy "No Job Too Small Or Big - 100% Satisfaction Guarantee" clearly falls short as they told me my job is too big and they won't refund my money unless I censor my free speech. I get unforeseen things happen, however ignoring the customer and details of a job, then attempting to cover it up is completely unacceptable. James is unethical and not someone I would ever recommend doing business with again.
