BEWARE: If I could give a 0 I would. this company did not attach the duct to the air return properly on. The duct fell off. I was charged $89 for a service fee when the technician came out even though I knew what it was because when I took off the air return you could obviously see the duct was not attached to the return. The owner, Maggie, refuses to stand behind the work and wants to charge $1800 for the repair + the $89 service fee. When I questioned the price of the repair the owner she became irate and hung up on me. I feel I was discrininated against and was tried to take advantage of because I am an older person. I had been using another company and when the owner retired, he recommended this company. My cooling stopped working and I gave them a call. They answered the phone right away and told me they had a tech in the area and he would be by as soon as he finished his current job, Within two hours a technician showed up, diagnosed a failed part and got our unit up and running. I paid him for the work and he said judging from the age of the unit it might be under warranty. He said if it was I could expect a refund. Frankly I had forgotten about it but to my surprise, I got a refund check today for the part. This company is knowledgeable, professional, honest and provides great service. I had a company come out 2 weeks prior to my leaving the country for a couple of months. Per the tech everything was fine. Two days before I leave there are problems with cooling in the house. Called that company back (AirDocs) and now, only two weeks later, same guy says line is clogged and need a new capacitor!?! Custom Air squeezed me in on the holiday weekend, and Jared came out, clearly knew what he was doing, and unclogged the drain line within minutes. I am thrilled to find a company that has some integrity, honesty, and genuine concern. Total price? Just $131.00! Air docs was trying to take almost $500, on completely unnecessary work!! I called to have my ac coils cleaned, since I recently bought my home. There was a musty smell coming from vents when unit came on. When the technician went to the air intake to check filter, I told him it was new and the smell was from the unit itself. He suggested putting an air freshener inside the duct. I told him, I was allergic and would never do that, emphasizing you don't coverup an odor. I followed the two techs outside where the other tech played with the drip line. I kept suggesting the coils probably were dirty. When I realized he was finished with his assessment, I said maybe there was standing water underneath the house. He wanted more money and I said, no I agreed to pay $89 and expected an answer to my problem even checking underneath. The office told him to check underneath and as he was closing up I went inside to get money. As I entered the house, I was hit with a wall of perfume and chemicals. I flipped out and asked the first tech if he sprayed perfume in my house? The main tech said it wasn't perfume, it was what they spray on filters. I felt like I was going into anaphylaxis. I was so upset that now my house has chemicals in the hvac system. I could hardly write the check. He took the filter to get a replacement and I said, forget it. I didn't want them back in my house, EVER. It took me two weeks to feel able to go to their office. I had cleaned all around that area and bought new hepa, nothing helped. The manager was unconcerned and every question I asked, to resolve my problem, was shrugged off. I contacted a chain of referrals, from duct cleaners to air quality who might help correct this problem they created. It seems the simplest was removing ducts and replacing ac unit. Yesterday was six weeks, I went to the office to get a picture of the spray can with ingredients. I got the runaround. I was going to my specialist and needed to see what was in that spray. Today I called back and was told it was Lysol. I asked for a picture to be text and was told the truck had been out of operation and it was impossible to know what may have happened to the can. The manager has taken the position it is my fault I have allergies. I hope this review might help someone avoid suffering. I attach a picture of the brand new Dyson recording the VOC count in my bedroom after the tech sprayed the intake. Some VOC take a year or more to dissipate (if ever). read more

I waited all day Monday 9/21/2020 for them to service my air conditioner. I was assured they would be there some time after 2 pm . around 4:30 pm I called and left a message . Someone called me back and said that the man had come , but no one answered the door. I said that's not true we were here all day and the door was open so we would have heard him. I would strongly discourage anybody from using Custom Air Systems Inc. My tenants in Port St. Lucie reported that the air handler was in dire need of repair, so my rental management company got me an estimate from Custom Air Systems Inc. They offered to clean the coil and replace the blower motor and blower wheel for $782 -- or replace the existing air and heating system for $3990. That's when I decided to get a second opinion. AC Doctors fixed the problem for $450. I then got a bill for $70 from Custom Air Systems for the estimate. read more

they had installed a 2 stage Rheem unit (handler,condensing unit , and thermostat) in 2010 ( $4,595.00)to previous owners who left me all the recepts. and booklets. There was a problem with the air shutting down. I called a local repair service in, and I was told that the Air handler and thermostat was a 2 stage, but not the condensing unit! How the previous owners didn't realize this I don't know. But Shame on you Custom Air! -0 star read more

I had a thermostat break and had to call on a Saturday. They sent someone out within 2 hours of my call. He was very courteous and explained all of my thermostat options. The system was due for maintenance (we recently purchased the condo) and he went ahead and serviced it while he was there. Prices were reasonable and I intend to continue to use them for regular maintenance of our system. read more

Worst A/C company on the treasure coast. They installed a brand new Lennox elite handler and compressor in 2013 and I have nothing but problems since. The install was horrible, the handler cabinet became completely unsealed and the main a/c duct was unsealed as well. I've been air conditioning the garage for months after the installation. Problems began only 6 months after install and they kept trying to charge me to fix their mistakes. Customer service is very rude as well. It's now January 2016 and guess what? First cold front and heat does not work and now tried to turn the A/C on and that now doesn't work either. read more
