The owner and one of his workers came the next morning and told me they were surprised what I'd done hadn't fixed the issue. Even so they replaced the new valve washers just to be sure and reinstalled the seats with teflon tape and tested it out. Sure enough, they had the issue fixed quickly and didn't make a mess doing it. They charges me their minimum hour which honestly I thought was not only reasonable but fair especially given the weather that day.

Unlike other places, Brian was very honest and straightforward with his flat rate quote -- it was not just an inspection but it came with a flush and cleaning. So although his price was higher than other quotes, we also knew that this was the price that we would be paying and not more than that. The receipt showed that he also ended up cleaning out the burner chamber and repaired the draft diverter. He said that he also worked on venting issues over the phone. He was helpful and tried his best to answer my questions. I was not able to be there at the service but he was there on time and spoke with me by phone. Brian is prompt, helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. His appointment did not take long but he was able to get everything serviced. And I'm of course always happy to help small businesses. When they put in the new system they told me that everything looked good including duck work. So I was surprised when Lee's made service check within the first year of the unit being installed and was told duck needed to be repaired. While I agree the work they do is good and they are very quick to come back and fix a problem, I am a little put off that every service check seems to find something new to fix. I will be looking into a second opinion from another company to see if I either got bad info from installers or from service check. Lee's does reputable work, but they seem find something that needs fixing. If you use them and that every service check means fixing something, it might be time to go elsewhere. PS. I am making an amended review. Lee's reached out and indicated what I was told by service rep was seemingly at odds with what installers had said. They felt that a mistake was made and offered another year of service for free. That is commendable customer service. My rate now is good+. It is worth a recommendation from me..
