I needed help with my garage door since it wasn't opening properly and having to manually open and close it. Total inconvenience for me doing it manually :P Got a virtual consultation through yelp, set up an appointment for the next day (day of) and the repair man came to my home super quickly! Super friendly technicians and he problem solved with me trying to figure out what component could be the issue. The technician said he would find the sensors for my garage door to be replaced and came the next day. He went out of his way to find the components we would need and the bill was very reasonable and the big take away was their professionalism in completing the job quickly and efficiently. Not being from the area and only visiting once or twice a year, I contacted this company to help service it. I made them aware of my schedule and that the appointment would be time sensitive. He texted me the night before saying he'd be there promptly at 9am. At 12 noon he still had not shown up though he kept texting updates about "be there in 20 minutes." When he finally showed up a little after 1PM he offered the most perfunctory of apologies and the flimsiest of excuses. As I just wanted to get the appointment over with I let it go in the hopes he could at least accomplish what I was paying him to do and be done before I had to get on a plane later that evening. No sooner does he unpack his gear than he asks to use the bathroom. I say fine assuming he'll begin the job soon. He was LITERALLY in the bathroom forty five minutes!!! I'll spare you the gorey details but suffice to say, it was olfactory nightmare when he was done. And it was only after he reemerged that I realized he smelled slightly of alcohol, which now made his tardiness and bathroom time easier to understand. Fed up I asked him to leave. He put up some resistance complaining about all the time and effort it took to get out to the house and unpack his gear. Thankfully I hadn't been charged prior to the appointment though I still wasted all that time flying out to New Mexico and still had to fly back a month later to get the AC serviced by an actual professional. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this person or his business to anyone. Do yourself (and your toilet) a favor and AVOID AT ALL COST.
