When we complained, our…read moreaddress was put up on Facebook, and we were bashed personally, (because they couldn't justify the work) and we were threatened with a lawsuit for putting up pictures. When I complained about a nail coming up, I was told by an employee to get MY fat a** up on the roof. Mr. Garcia refuses to refund our money because he says, 'It is a good roof." I guess it is the best his company can do. Also, Mr. Garcia is the only one with a license, and he wasn't there even once during the construction! My husband, a 65-year-old man is now looking for a second job just to pay for anther roof. I have Lupus, which is triggered by stress, and I have a disabled son living with me. Mr. Garcia is aware of all this; he just doesn't care since he got paid. How this company can say they take pride in their work when this is the kind of work they do, is beyond me. They claim to be "good Christians", but in my opinion aren't even good human beings.

I engaged Garcia and Sons Roofing for the job, along with some other home repair work I needed done. I made a few fits and starts which they handled gracefully but when the work on the roof was finished, it looked like it was 30 years old instead of brand new. The crew had to go up at least three different times to repair parts they hand missed and large swaths of the roof look like ancient rock roads, unlevel and poking up in random patterns instead of laying smoothly in straight lines. It may be functional, but it's ugly and cuts down on curb appeal, or more accurately, sidewalk appeal, and the contractor says that is was done right. Everyone besides him that I show the pictures to say it's terrible. This is definitely a case of 'buyer beware'.

He then gets his boys sub contracted to give your job the bare minimum effort! He's pushes to get the job and the next time he wants his money. You pay half upfront for materials. Your discussion with him is useless. I paid hard earned money for this project. How he left it was a joke! That's not how a contractor should be. Take the money and run. This was the second job I gave him and I should have known better. No wonder he left Clovis. I believe he was constantly looking over his shoulders for the many disgruntled customers he left in rear view mirror. I shure hope this review can somehow follow him to his next destination, Amarillo, TX If more people knew of his shoddy work, unethical character maybe the law can close in an shut him down. Amarillo be aware!

It was awhile before they actually came to do the work. We were told that it would only take a couple of days to get the fence up. We didn't want to be too long without a fence because we have dogs. They ran into some problems with the old fence being set in concrete. So that pushed the project to last longer. It took them almost two weeks to complete it.But the footings they poured are not great. Some places have cracks all the way through the footing. The fence line itself is off and wonky. None of the poles are even. There was problems with the gap under the gate which when addressed they couldn't see any problems even though the gap difference was more than two inches from the other side. They added a panel that closed the gap by 1/2 inch. One side of the gate didn't even have the panel all the way attached. And the gate is uneven so the bolt to close it doesn't line up and you have to lift the gate up.They left it looking unfinished and when asked what could be done they just stuck a crappily cut piece of panel on there with some screws. We also asked about the posts having caps since they are set in concrete and the solution we were told was that holes needed to be drilled into the pipe so all the water to come out. We bought caps ourselves but it was hard to put them on because the posts were all cut crookedly. They don't clean up after themselves. There is a big pile of concrete in our alley way and the project has been completed now for over two weeks. They were supposed to come back the next day to clean it up. I cleaned up what I could but most of it is one giant piece stuck in the ground. And they messed up the landscaping on one side of the house and once addressed they told us that's how it looked when they came. Which it was not and it can be seen in the ad they created with our project. I wouldn't use them again for anything. They are not professional and don't especially like to hear the customers concerns. As of July they still haven't picked up the concrete. We tried breaking it up but couldn't.
