These guys do pretty good work, and can powder coat pretty much anything. I went in to have a bicycle frame powder coated. They have a big selection of colors (they can do anything in the RAL color chart, which is apparently an industry standard for powder coating).
What really sets this shop apart though is their service, specifically, how incredibly easy it is to get in touch with them. I first got in contact with them via email, just asking general questions about painting bicycle frames (and found out they actually have extensive experience with this), and to my surprise, I got a response back in MINUTES. I can't even get my computer nerd co-workers to respond that quickly! So I replied with a few more questions, and sure enough, mere minutes later, another response.
The next time I contacted them was about a week later, in the afternoon (the first time I emailed them, it was very early in the morning) while I was walking out of my building to my bicycle (I send emails from my smartphone frequently). Before I got the lock off my bike, they responded. If only all businesses used email this efficiently.. I was pretty impressed at this point, so I decided to give them a call and ask if I could swing by to see some color samples. They have quite a few sample chips, and were willing to make new ones in whatever color I wanted, free of charge.
Prices were reasonable. For a base color with a sparkle top coat, they charged $75 (on a bicycle frame that is).
If you have something you need powder coated, shoot them an email (or call if that's your thing)! read more
