I have had Dave, the owner of Perfect Painting, paint the exterior of my house on two occasions…read more(the fact I brought him back for a second paint job says a ton). I believe he did a professional, quality job both times at a fair price. The first paint job looked good for years and lasted well over 10 years (all you can reasonably expect). With the first painting, we had just completed an addition, so the job required painting both a new, fresh surface, as well as an 80 year old structure. Both times the crew prepared the house well. They sanded huge sections of the house, removing all the chipping as well as other faults of the old paint job. They were neat and environmentally conscience, using vacums with hoses attached to the sanders, working behind plastic sheeting and on top of drop clothes to contain the paint chips. The paint job itself was very professional. Dave also stands behind his work. I had some minor chipping that I thought was premature a few years after the second paint job. I called Dave and explained the problem. He came by and looked at the house. He stood behind his work and offered to touch up the area, simply asking that I be flexible with the timing (totally reasonable in my opinion - I offered he simply do it when he had a window of time). When the time came to do the touch up, he took a chip of paint off the house, went to the paint store to match the paint chip (we had the original color code/name, but Dave was cognizant of the fact that paint fades as it ages and is exposed to the elements - so the job required a slightly different tone to the color which the sample afforded him the opportunity to custom mix a paint to match the faded color) and then sent his crew over to prep and apply a fresh paint job to the area. The touched up area blended in very nicely with the existing paint job, so one could not tell the difference by color. This review comes from a guy that painted for a business in high school and college, after having been taught by my Dad how to do it right. I had many repeat customers due to the quality of my work. I also have run my own businesses over the years. Therefore, I think I have a fairly good idea of what to expect from both a business owner and a professional painter: I am happy to say that Dave delivered professionalism on both counts.

He replied to our initial inquiry for an estimate within a few hours, and scheduled a walk through the next day. When he walked into our apartment, he immediately started sharing his thoughts on the approach he would take. No detail was left undiscussed and it was a very thoughtful assessment with an honest and competitive estimate. He was clearly passionate about the project and he made us feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end of the process, which was a little over a week including the estimate and scheduling three days for prep work, painting and clean up. We met him on the final day of the project and he walked us through our apartment pointing out all the details, it looked great. He even pointed out a non painting related item he noticed and recommended that we should address to keep the apartment free of potential future damage, further indicating to us that he truly cares about helping his customers make their homes beautiful and keeping them safe. We appreciated Will's professional approach and confidently recommend him his team!

After assuring me he was on our side and would help pursue a refund, he went completely dark, just like the flooring company. He also was a no show on his follow up "touch up day" and went radio silent thereafter. I needed help deciding between a few Ben Moore color choices, one of which they specifically recommended themselves, which made it easier. They were both friendly and seemed to take the task with patience, which I appreciated. I didn't want to put too much work into it, because the room set up is pretty established and I just wanted a refresh, but obviously still wanted everything to look good! I'm glad I found these guys because that's exactly what I got. The process was really easy from start to finish - I filled out an online contact form on their site and got a call to get the ball rolling the next day. An estimator came to give me quote and went through the process - what color I should buy/was recommended and how much I should buy based on how many layers he thought I'd need. Since it was just two rooms, they said it could all be done in a day! We scheduled the painting for a few days later based on my schedule. They did a great job of not getting paint on ANYTHING and I didn't pay until everything was totally done. I paid via credit card but understood that they accept payment with Venmo and PayPall too which is awesome. Overall would highly recommend - painless process and great results!

I definitely recommend them, they are quick and clean and I kid had to leave a review because a wonderful service like this definitely deserves it.

I did the "adult" thing & got three quotes. The other two were late, wish washy, cheaper but would take a long time. Anyone who has had work done or painting knows that having a bunch of strangers in your home sucks & creates chaos. Best to pay more to get the job done. Ross from Precision painting showed up on time (usually early during the job), had an industry discount with high-end Farrow & Ball paint, & left me his business card like a professional. He also knew about priming over different colors & surfaces & what my specific project needed for gloss levels, etc. Ross' quote was reasonable & he would be faster than the other guys. I confirmed with the woman holding down the organized office & decided to sign with them. Of course I added in wallpaper on the ceiling & crown moulding after I asked & Ross was calm about it, "yeah, we can do that" is not what I am used to hearing. He didn't second guess my wants as a woman & had capable men on hand to really make my dream room come true versus settling. We readjusted the quote to add in the new work & ALL FINANCIAL & TIME PARAMETERS WERE 100% CLEAR. There were no games around money or time- no saying he'd show up & then nothing. His crew were the best. They came early & were good people. Minimal mess. I have had all of this work done multiple times in the past with horrible messes & dust. I feel traumatized by past work but Ross + Precision Painting job was unbelievable. The room before was OK but boring & simplistic plus kind of messy & a bad paint job. The room now is my dream come to life. Thank you!!! No touch ups, no complaints, just perfection & precision!

The paint job was a sloppy mess. Than the wood cases started to peel. We told him that he never sanded the existing oil. He insisted he did. He had a Benjamin Moore rep come to the house who told him that the casing were not sanded enough. Ross decided to strip it with peel away. He never had enough workers to do the job properly so the peel away dried and created a mess. All the wood casings needed heavy sanding since he never cleaned it. It was like he had no idea how to use the striper. We are two months into painting one room with no end in sight. We are now arguing about sanding the horrible strip job.
