Went in for gel polish and picked out my color. The lady said she had something she thought I would like better and asked me to trust her. Big mistake. She did a chrome polish on me, which I know from TikTok is an up charge. My nails were $52. My friend has paid a different price for a fill in every time she has gone there and her fill in was cheaper than my gel polish. I won't be going back. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner didn't change his gloves between 2-3 clients when I went in earlier this week. Along with this he proceeded to do my nails without cleaning up after his previous client. Also, nail techs are not certified to remove ingrown toe nails. After digging more into this online I'm seeing it's illegal. One of the younger women was giving me a pedicure and dug down into the side of my toe so bad I was bleeding. When I finally pulled my foot away and said that hurts she dug in once more, clipped part of my nail and said oh honey it was an ingrown. Please note I've never had an issue with ingrown nails and I get pedicures regularly. read more

Hit or miss. The lady that did my nails was in a rush and kept skipping steps. When she filed at the end the gel came off the tips. She put polish over them and said all good without the lamp or top coat. She rushed and skipped any step she thought she could. Same with my pedicure. This was the worst experience of my life. I had the rudest worker ever. He yelled at me in the middle of the salon because I asked very politely for him to fix a nail. He was extremely disrespectful, childish, and unprofessional. I will NEVER be back and I called one of my friends and she said the same exact thing happened to her. Super nice, Super professional, Super Job! When trying out a new nail place you never know what you're going to get. I came in asking for mani and pedi. Got both for $70 and well worth it! My feet were so dry and cracked I was almost embarrassed but the staff put me at ease and did a great job of making them look great. My cuticles were a wreck and again the staff was very professional and did a wonderful job. I am very pleased with the services I received today and will be back. I will never get my nails done here again. What should have been an hour long appt turned into about 2.5 hours. What I assume was the owner did acrylics on me and stopped every minute to do things around the salon and help other people coming into the salon. He refused to cut my cuticles even though I asked 4 separate times. He only dried my polish under the UV light for about 25 seconds and then blamed me when the second coat smudged. He kept pulling me arm closer to him where I was leaned forward so uncomfortably with my face almost pressed up against the plastic barrier. He was very rude and condescending and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when it came to getting my nails done, which is not the case. Don't waste your money or time. read more

I wouldn't say that we would go back. I took my daughter and when we went in I did not see a list of prices posted anywhere. I figured though that they'd be comparable to other places around. I got a regular pedi and a gel mani with nail design (black lines). My daughter got a gel pedi and a gel mani with nail design on each ring finger. All together it was $185. I was FLOORED. So shocked that I honestly forgot to tip. This ultimately was my fault because I should have asked to see a price list. I was also less than impressed with my feet afterward. For $185 my feet should have ZERO dead skin and they are still very rough. I'd been holding off on attacking my feet in the shower because we were treating ourselves today. read more

Worst experience ever at nail salon. I think it was owners husband who did mine. Rushed me and wouldn't let me pick color I wanted. I ask for shellac but bottle said gel. They all said same thing same thing no difference. Kept pulling my arm and hurt me filing so hard and quickly. Stuck me with the file under my nail. Nothing spoke in English whole time. When I did not leave tip they all laughed. What jerks. The ends are not even colored and are rough. I will share with everyone. Should have stayed closed. I called ahead & made an appointment to get my nails painted. Not filed, not clipped, no acrylics - just painted. When I walked in, again I said I wanted my nails painted. I don't get my nails done very often, so I'm not sure what's standard. The technician first smoothed down my nails with a dremel. Then he pulled out clippers - I thought he might snip a snagged cuticle or hangnail. But no, before I realized what was happening, he clipped half the length off my pinky nail. Well, too late now, so I let him clip the rest of my nails without saying anything. Then he pulled out his box of acrylics. "No acrylics," I said. "I just want them painted." "What! Why didn't you tell me before?! Why did you let me get this far without telling me?!" I told him I didn't realize that's what he was doing. So my nails look nice, but they're half as long despite my telling them twice that I only wanted paint! This is why I rarely get my nails done. read more

My wife and I were in Henderson shopping and made the horrible mistake of getting a mani and pedi done at Nail Design of Henderson!! Wow. Read that horrible review about our experience and you will better understand why I'm writing this review. Well Pro Nails to the rescue!!! I was so shocked at how badly my wife was treated and how awful her nails looked that I recommend we drive to Owensboro to get them redone, which we did. Well Pro Nail was busy but not too busy to take my wife In and completely redo her nails on a Friday afternoon!! Always professional, courteous, polite and amazing folks! They did an absolutely wonderful job of fixing all the mistakes done by the other nail salon. We couldn't recommend Pro Nails more highly. 5 stars from us isn't high enough! Great job!! This place makes it impossible to get dip nails and matching polish on toenails. I got a terrible pedicure and manicure. I felt sorry for the guy who did my mani/ pedi. He knew he did a bad job and apologized for it at the end of my appointment. My left hand nails look nothing like my right. The polish is smudged into my cuticles on both hands and feet. My toes look like I painted them myself with my left hand. I usually go to Eve Nails and Spa but they were closed. They are the best in town. Pro nails is the worst. Homophobic. Refused to color my toenails when my boyfriend and I went in and paid for a full pedicure. They colored the nails of a female right next to us with no questions asked. When I asked for color I was told that was for girls only. This was my first pedicure and I figured I'd get a little color for the full experience. Not a great experience at all. I came in with my friend and we were not able to wait and get two seats together for a pedicure. I understand that there wasn't a guarantee to sit together but they wouldn't let us wait for 5 minutes as a lady was getting her feet polished. So then my friend got done with her pedicure before I even got started with mine. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and it was with the same guy. The guy also messed up the shape of my nails I told him I wanted square and my toes look like coffin shape now. The guy put about 8 layers of polish on my toes and then he kept cutting me with his own nails because he caught himself trying to clean up the edges while hurting me. The guy had two snaggertooth (Jagged/rigid) type looking thumbnails, they were jagged and dirty. I couldn't tell if it was red blood or polish under his one finger nail. After like 40 minutes of the pedicure he took me over to start my manicure and he didn't even cut my full cuticles. He trimmed the sides and then just started the gel process. He also did about 6 layers of gel too. The manicure came out ok and the pedicure was ok until I realized my pinky toe is already chipped. I haven't even done anything crazy for me to chip them on purpose. I wouldn't recommend going ere even if it is close and convenient. Aonther thing I didn't like was how there isn't a price list at ALL. We just walked in said what we wanted and they just gave us the final price at the end which was wayyyyy to high in my opinion. Went in to get a simple fill in for my acrylics. As soon as I was sat down, the guy doing my nails got up and said be right back. I didn't mind at the time, till I realized I'm pretty sure he took a smoke break. Anyways he comes back in, does 3 nails as quick as he can, stops on my middle finger and pulls out his phone from the drawer to check the NBA game scores. I ignored it.. well it only got worse. He would find stopping points to check the game. By the time I was done, I was in and out within 28 minutes. It was 7:35 and the salon didn't close until 8, but every worker had their coats on and turning off the lights and getting their things together so I just got up and left. It sucks whenever getting your nails done is your "me time" but can't enjoy it because the nail tech sucks. Won't be back read more

Went to get my eyebrows waxed. Came out with a bloody brow and swollen forehead. Ouch!

BEWARE: LADY THERE PERFORMED UNWANTED SURGERY ON MY TOES FOR A PROBLEM I DIDN"T HAVE. A lady there (lived in NY city for about 17 years) butchered my toes. She cut 1/8 of an inch of nail off each side of both big toes all the way into the tissue, and ripped that part of the nail out. MY TOES BLED at the shop, and have hurt in the days since. HER LICENSE SHOULD BE REVOKED. Afterward, she said I had ingrown toe nails. I have never had ingrown toenails, but am afraid I will now. This was very painful, and when I yelled for her to stop, a man in the shop ran over to us to talk with the lady. Even if I had ingrown toenails, my podiatrist should have dealt with them, not a nail person. SHE IS PERFORMING SURGERY which is not allowed by a nail technician. I visit a podiatrist for my heels and he has never said I have an ingrown toenail. So, this lady performed surgery for a problem I didn't have. I may have to see a doctor about the problems this shop caused. BEWARE!!! read more
