If you're shopping for a shed in the Idaho Falls area, let me save you some time…read more I contacted several shed companies for quotes, and the last one I called was Strong Shed--and I'm glad I did. As a veteran-owned business, they clearly take pride in what they do and care about their customers. Not only did they offer the best price, but they were also confident in the quality of their materials and craftsmanship. Braden and Rachel were great to communicate with--professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Treven, who built my 8x12 shed, did an outstanding job. He was efficient, skilled, and clearly knew what he was doing. I highly recommend Strong Shed. Don't waste your time calling around--start with them and you won't be disappointed.

I was told that it is $90.00 an hour plus any parts. I said that we have not had any kind of estimate. If we think it is a small job and your technician finds it a much bigger job then we would not be able to pay, an estimate would be required before we would hire you for the job. She basically said, tough, that is the way we do it and our Tech is out a week and a half. I said, again, that is why we called 2 weeks ago. Very disappointing.

They gave a date when they would start, and they actually almost made the date - had to delay one week due to a significant snowstorm (and they informed us of the delay early - i.e. when the storm occurred). We've had work done many times, and meeting a committed start time is not that common. Given how great the deck went, we asked them to also build a pergola for us on the cement patio. They were extremely busy at this point, but as a previous customer, they fit us into their schedule. Again, fantastic job and we've enjoyed both for months at this point. Highly recommended!

We recommend Barrett Construction LLC in Rigby but be sure to discuss in advance the footings configuration. Our footings do not meet at some corners, there is a gap into the outside perimeter where moisture can get into the crawl space, so we will be cementing those gaps in. Also be very specific on where you want anchor bolts, we had to call them back to remove and replace the anchor bolts, but even after requesting 4" from outside edge, they didn't measure and we still had to notch out the rim joists. All it would have taken is a chalk line on their part. Lots of extra work for our framer that could have been done right the first time.
