Pro Landscapes solved a long-standing issue for my husband and me (both in our mid-70's) A ditch evidently created by water seepage exactly on the path by our gate where we roll our trash cans from every Sunday night for Monday trash collections. The ditch was not filled with water, but made walking hazardous and very difficult to maneuver the trash cans. The company met with our daughter on the site (at our request) to explain needs and issues. Our salesman, David Nutter, drew up a proposal and contract, with each item that needed to be done detailed, including materials, cost and time involved. When we agreed to a plan and signed the papers, we got on their schedule. Pro Landscapes made sure we had the gas company come out and mark where the lines ran, in advance of the work--very simply through an online link they provided. We provided the necessary deposit before the work was to begin. A team of about six workers came out by 10 am the day in question and completed the job by that afternoon. The head worker checked with me about the arc of the path of flagstone stepping stones to our front walkway, just to be sure we were all on the same page. We were! We are so satisfied with the job! I took 2 large cans and 2 smaller cans to our front last Sunday afternoon, and I had no trouble at all! I am thrilled with the end result--not only as far as practicality, but also in terms of the beauty of the work they did, with no mess left behind at all. We received directions as far as how to treat the new walkway and when we could safely begin using it. So they were very thorough. We would recommend them highly!!!! read more

I hired ProLawn Care to grade my backyard and clean up the landscaping of a very neglected side yard. The backyard did not have a problem with drainage but had lots of lumpy sections due to trees being removed. David came by to assess the job and gave me a very quick and thorough estimate. I had gotten one other quote and David's was much more reasonable. He told me my job would be scheduled out 3-4 weeks and he was within that range. Matt came out to do the work with a small team of guys. When I told him I wanted a more level backyard for my daughter to play soccer on, he was excited. A Div 1 soccer player himself, he knew exactly what I was looking for and he delivered. While he machine-graded the backyard, his team cleaned out the side yard. The plants they choose were nice and the clean out was well done. The whole job took 2 half days. There was no delay between the first and second day either. It was probably a little more work than they bargained for but they stuck to the quote. Both Dave and Matt clearly love landscaping and horticulture and their passion shows. My only very minor complaint is that the schedule for the week is sent out on Sundays and my date got bumped a few times even beyond the expected for rain delays. That said, if they had stuck closer to the first date, my work would have been done within 2 weeks which would have exceeded my expectations. I was fine with 3-4 weeks but the schedule got my hopes up more than once. All in all, an excellent experience. I hope to have them build me a small patio soon. read more

The backyard of my small townhouse was a disaster from the awful winter and a puppy that likes to dig. I contacted Pro Landscapes, by email on Friday, March 14th, spoke to the president of the company, David Nutter on Saturday and by Sunday, March 16th, I had a very detailed proposal. The proposal was a meticulous, professional, step-by-step outline of everything his team would do and how they would do it. On March 27th a team of four men arrived and worked non-stop, completing the job by 4:00 PM. They were friendly, diligent, and knowledgeable. By the end of the day, by backyard was transformed. The wow factor had returned. I can't even begin to express my delight and satisfaction with an incredibly well-done job. Communication was essential to the flawlessly executed upgrade of my backyard. I should also note that not long after the project was completed, a freeze warning was issued. We asked Pro Landscape to bid on a porch and front walkway repair or replacement complicated by the need to avoid tree roots and to consider using existing stones. Mr. Nutter, the owner, responded promptly to our initial contact, came to look at the job the very next day , and produced a proposal for us within several days after that. He was accommodating with respect to additional specifications that we requested after receiving his initial proposal. His website photographs were very helpful in choosing the right type and shape of flagstones for the job. Of the 5 companies we contacted, he was the most prompt and professional with his proposal. Details were spelled out very well, particularly how his crew would approach the issue of working around the tree roots and avoiding a lip between the walkway and the city sidewalk. My house flooded twice in the past year (before I bought it) due to poor drainage. When I purchased the home, I immediately called Pro Lawn Care to get a French drain installed. Even in a light rain, the sump pump in the crawl space would cycle for days at a time. After the 100 ft French drain was installed I haven't heard it turn on once, even during prolonged, heavy rain storms. I was very impressed with the company's communication and professionalism. While the price was a bit higher than some other quotes I received, I ended up going with Pro Lawn Care because their solution to my problem seemed the most comprehensive. We asked several contractors about a problem keeping mulch on our flower bed on either side of our 200 foot driveway. We had several contractors offer stone and railroad tie wall solutions. This company was the only one to suggest and implement a sustainable solution of replacing mulch with fast-growing easy to maintain ground cover. There was an initial glitch in planting issues which David went out of his way to make right. It's been less than 3 months and the plants are spreading well and the driveway looks much better than it did when there was mulch there. The do it right! We had a stone patio underneath our deck be put up. We missed that it was to be "boxed" in with 4x4 wood. When the job was nearly done we called David and explained we did not expect that. He handled it very quickly and professionally. They pulled out the wood framing and installed stones and did not charge us extra just the cost of the materials. In addition, a piece of stone was left on my neighbor's grass causing a burn. Our house was getting water in the basement when it rained a lot. Dave came out quickly to assess the situation. He recommended installing drainage from all the downspouts in addition to adjusting the grade to drain water away from the house. He was also knowledgeable in diagnosing how water was getting into the basement. We need to get the gutters fixed first. Then we hope to do more in the yard. David and his guys did a small job for me and my elderly mother and I'm happy but my mother is ecstatic! If she's happy then everyone's happy right? Haha It consisted of just planting a few scrubs in the front by the side walk, cutting a section of the lawn, and installing a french drain system so my mother basement would stop flooding each time it rained.
