My job was doing wall and ceiling patches after a plumbing issue / fix. Some of the holes had acceptable undamaged drywall pieces, but also had holes with none of the original drywall. The wall also had texture, which they aspired to match. I still had my paint so they didn't have to get chips to recreate color. Ricardo showed up early to do his estimate, which I do recommend vs the online process. He indicated his team availability and provided a quote. After going through others who were either a lot more expensive (some had minimum job cost requirements) and some others had other things about timing, price, etc, I proceeded to hire Ricardo Painting. Hugo came early the next day and stayed on schedule with disciplined execution. Didn't try to rush - eg rushing mud to dry, or applying paint coats too early. He really wanted to match the wall texture and did a great job. I will know where the repair was, but only ones trying to find it will actually notice. They said less than 2 days, and it was done. Within an hour of contacting him, he visited the location and gave me a very reasonable quote on such short notice. Shortly after, Rock arrived to inspect the space and got to work right away. He was incredibly professional, kind, and meticulous. He laid down tarps throughout the area to prevent any mess and made sure everything was set up perfectly before painting even began. I have high ceilings and wanted an accent wall in one of the rooms, which can be a challenge--but Rock handled it flawlessly. The entire process took two days. They started early and worked efficiently, wrapping up around 5-6 PM each day. Throughout the process, Rock sent me progress photos, and the lines were absolutely perfect--especially around outlets and light switches, which really shows the level of detail and care he puts into his work. He was also incredibly respectful of my apartment building, keeping noise to a minimum and making sure the space was well-ventilated so there was no overwhelming paint smell.
