I took lessons from Mark for a number of years. His style of teaching encouraged me to want to play better, which ended up in me practicing more and actually getting better. For me personally, we dove into a lot of theory and how it is used in various styles of music, which also encouraged me to work on scales, chord progressions, strum and picking patterns, etc. In other words, Mark tailored my lessons for me and my interests and coupled that with music theory. It was an enlightening experience. Sadly, we recently moved to Florida, but the next time I am in town I am definitely going to visit him and pick ip a lesson, or two. Believe me it is worth it. read more
