Before the remodel, hot water to our kitchen was almost immediate due to its location next to the water heater. Now it takes over a minute just to get warm in the kitchen and several minutes in the back bathroom. At the bathroom sink alone, we are wasting over three gallons of water waiting for it to become warm. Because of this, I often end up doing my nightly self-care routine at the kitchen sink instead. We have also experienced intermittent hot/cold water problems throughout the home, including: washing machine receiving scalding hot water during cold cycles dishwasher not consistently getting proper hot water extended delays getting hot water throughout the house The washing machine issue has ruined multiple items, including sheets and high-end sweaters that were washed on cold settings. One of the biggest concerns involves the exterior wall of the remodeled bathroom. Prior to the remodel, there was one hot outdoor spigot and one cold outdoor spigot. After the remodel, both outdoor spigots began running scalding hot water. Bison did acknowledge this issue and eventually added an additional cold-water spigot, which now leaves us with three outdoor spigots total -- two hot and one cold -- while the original issue still remains unexplained. At one point during this process, a possible crossover issue was discussed as an explanation for what we were experiencing. We were later told the only way to fully determine what happened behind that remodeled wall would involve opening the tiled wall area, which they were unwilling to do. We also obtained an independent plumbing evaluation ourselves early in the process, and that written report documented concerns consistent with a possible crossover issue. However, later evaluations arranged through Bison reached different conclusions, leaving us with conflicting assessments and no lasting resolution.n Early on in the process, even the toilet tank water was checked by the project manager and acknowledged to be unusually warm. However, because many of the problems occur intermittently, some plumbing visits happened during times the issues were not actively occurring, making it difficult to recreate the problem during every inspection. Over the course of more than a year, we repeatedly reported these concerns and allowed multiple plumbers and inspectors access to our home. Unfortunately, most visits consisted of briefly turning on fixtures in the remodeled bathroom while the larger issues affecting the rest of the home were never fully evaluated. One repair attempt involved replacing a shower valve, yet none of the original problems changed afterward. We were ultimately told by Bison that multiple plumbers and inspectors "found no problems" and that there was "nothing else they could do," despite the issues continuing in real time in our home. At this point, we are having to pursue independent plumbing diagnostics ourselves to determine the actual cause and cost of repair. Our experience has been frustrating, exhausting, and disappointing. We trusted this company with our home and expected accountability when problems began immediately after the remodel. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to thoroughly document everything, independently verify all plumbing work, and ensure concerns are fully addressed before assuming the issue is resolved.

They…read moredid do a good job on first small project but since then hired them again and it has been a battle from start. Paid 1/2 up front so could buy materials, this was on Tuesday. Project was paint, make repairs, build new steps, and other smaller things to my house. Got money on Tuesday didn't come back till the next Monday with no supplies. Said since his business was 1 1/2 hour away from my house that would cut into working time. Remember he worked for me before at same place but now 3 hours driving time is factor in work time and purchasing supplies time. He rarely showed up before 11 am and left by 3 pm. He had to ask for more advance money because spent my money on truck repairs and so couldn't buy any paint. Already 2 weeks in so had to trust him or would loose $7000 and work barely done. The whole project was only supposed to be two weeks. Kept moving from one area to another never quite finishing an area. When got to painting chimney told us rotten. We agreed to additional $2800 to repair, replace, and make safe. Put it in writing too. His ideal of safe was to use particle board and pressed wood. When chimney man came to check told us would probably catch fire. When confronted him he was rude and argumentative so we asked him to finish what we had paid for and leave. We had luckily on paid $1400 on chimney so not out full amount of extra project but had already paid full amount in house repair. 5 days later came back to do this but only fixed couple things and left. We now have to pay someone to finish what we paid him for originally let alone the mess with chimney being unsafe. We have everything written out but can't afford to pursue in court because having to finish his leftovers. So beware of this business He is now harassing me with text messages.

Kendell was very communicative and explained in detail the project timeline, outlining the contractual obligations of both parties, deposit and payment due dates, project completion date, etc. We understood that his quote was based on current building materials cost, and that the quote had an expiry date. We gladly signed the contract to lock in the quote, and get on BDBD's build schedule. Throughout the project, Kendell kept us informed at every step, even checking in during periods of foul weather, when no construction could take place. In summary, we could not be more pleased with the improvements Kendell built for us; we and our guests have a beautiful place to make some pretty amazing memories.

Took too long getting first half of the dock done, we had to pay to extend our permit; with no offer from him to pay for extension because of his delays, then he said he needed more money and would check back with us in 6 months. We did not agree to pay any more money than we agreed on in second contract from 2 months earlier, where he upped the price by $4000 for steel prices. He would not honor his price/contract. We decide our shingle and gutter colors and everything seemed great, planned and ready to go. This is during a supply shortage so we get delayed a month or so due to availability of shingles. Sure, no problem. The installation begins: the contractors arrive and seemed professional enough to know what they're doing and they get started ripping things off and replacing. First incident is my neighbor picks up a handful of nails that were left in the street after the first day of work. Unacceptable, but they responded respectively with my feedback. 2nd day into the work they let me know they underestimated the amount of shingles and need approximately $2,000 more including labor. We decline and but pay some pity because of it being a mistake. Here's the catch. We have to wait for more shingles, --for 3 months. All the while 4 different leaks developed with a half blue and half brown roof. Keep in mind, all of the communications with AVCO have been extremely delayed and they showed up multiple times without notice. They fix the leaks; repaint it and all. I accept it. And still being lenient. They continue the roof replacement and the blue shingles look amazing. Another 3 months go by with little communication on when the gutters will be installed and the pricing. The gutters get installed initially, completely incorrectly. At this point, the person who gave us our initial quote was 'fixing' his contractors work. The gutters continued to hold water and drain incorrectly. We come to find there is a sagging section of the roof that they should've contacted us regarding and at least given us the choice to get it repair or not. But no one ever spoke about it potentially being a problem. To this day we have yet to pay for the gutters as they still are left incorrectly done and still holding just a little bit of water, not to mention a corner being finished with the wrong type of leaf catcher because they ran out or got lazy. This is not a reliable company. They contract out there work to anyone who will do it for a low wage.
